bbr - Right now, worrying about HCA is about the furthest thing from my mind. Sorry but I am not looking for nor expecting a lengthy playoff appearance for our Kings.
This isn't a championship team. I love the team and will continue to love them, but that doesn't change the cold, hard facts.
I used to have a 1968 Camaro. It was a beautiful car, with a blue-printed 327 engine. It was FAST! But, over time, thing started to go wrong, as they will with high-performance cars. Things that you try hard to prevent still occur. Wear and tear on the engine, the tires, etc. Eventually you have to start replacing parts and if you don't find parts just as good as the ones you originally had, the performance is going to start to decline.
Well, the team is like that right now. Sure, the paint job is still pretty good and the ulpholstery is in good shape but the engine is knocking, the steel cord is showing on one of the tires, and the radiator has a slow leak.
