now isn't this ironic?

peja gets a big shot. he gave NOK the lead... against the kings... ;)

let's go kings!!!!

Wow so much for the midget front line of Shareef and Kenny. What the heck were they thinking giving it to Reef for the game winner?

Two AWFUL plays drawn up at the end of the game... A fadeaway jumper from Ron over 2 guys? Shareef one on one against CHANDLER? Eww...

Shareef driving against Tyson Chandler is our best option?
They gave Artest the first shot, he didn't do much better. Personally I would have given Kevin both shots but hey, If Mike Bibbys in the lineup it's not even a question.

noone got hurt

What are the chances of kings winning a close game with Bibby not playing ?

Score just 2 buckets in the last 6 minutes and they win. Execution stunk down the stretch....not to mention the horrible # of turnovers throughout.

I know its just pre-season, but damn....we had like 29 turnovers, no points in the last 5:49 in the 4th quarter. And someone please tell me why Shareer had the ball in the last play. Was the ball really supposed to go to him?

I remember the Utah game from the last season. Didn't we go 0 of something in the 4th and allowed a 22-0 run and lost a game that couldn't have been lost

Most of the game, the effort and solid defense was still there. So I'm not too disappointed. But clearly this shows how important Bibby and Miller are to this offense.

It's not the last shot by SAR that disappointed me, it was the playcalling leading up to that shot.

We weren't playing with the same "calm" as we were leading up to that point. It went into one-on-one and jumpshot mode.

We quit going into the post and relied on one-on-one matchups to get looks ... and we're just not talented enough to get away with that.

As for the final two shots - Ron Artest took a stupid shot. That was just a bad shot in all respects. It wasn't within our offense. It was a poor percentage look. It was over two people. Bad playcalling and poor execution. With the time we had, we should have looked in the post and perhaps kicked it out if it wasn't open. That should have been SARs call.

On the final shot, don't give it to a post player to drive and throw something up. If that's what we drew up ... that's just bad. I think SAR gets a bum rap when it comes to game winners, but damn, that's a low percentage shot at all times. That's the time Ron Artest should have taken the previous shot or Martin should have tried to get a look.

Bad, bad, bad execution.

I don't necessarily think it shows how much "Miller" is to this offense.

Miller is king of getting bottled up.

Not having Bibby is what killed us. Our offense looked stagnant at times, with our PG looking lost and jacking poor shots. Bibby at least can settle it down.

What happened to the young bigs? Didnt Muss say Woods was waived so that he could get a better look at Amundson and Williams?

This pre-season, our lanes have not looked like the diamond lanes during rush hour...until tonight. What was the one difference, at least in the frontcourt? Miller wasn't there.

While I'm not saying he's a defensive juggernaut, I am saying he at least takes up more space inside.

If anything, I think we missed MIller more on defense ... ... than offense.

Umm...I didn't miss Miller. Not trying to bash Miller, but he's terrible on defense and he really doesn't take that much space because all the player has to do is dribble right around him and get the layup.

Sorry, Rockmeister, but I disagree.

During the pre-season games this year the Kings have really shut down the lane for lay-ups...until tonight. That's why I made the comment above about the diamond lane.
