Airing the home/season opener commercial free will allow Kings fans who are unable to be there for that special night to see EVERYTHING

That Sacramento Kings season/home opener will have such huge pageantry. It's really going to be something Kings fans can't miss. NBA 3.0

Where are you getting the word that the Kings will broadcast these games commercial free? According to News10.net (link to article located below), the only commercial free game will be the home opener.

Sorry, its in here:

Kinda confusing.
RGM had it up too.
This doesn't even tell me that all the games will be aired commercial free. If you are speaking of the following quote:

"News10 will air 11 Kings games, including the Season/Home Opener vs. Den 10/30 Commercial Free!"

All it's saying that it will air 11 Kings games, including the season and home opener commercial free.

It's not saying it will air all games commercial free. I think you may be slightly confused with that...

It'll be just the opener commercial-free, and 11 games overall. Presumably the rest of the games will be on CSNCA.

I hope there's a plan to get Grant and Jerry some water breaks during the opener!

Does sound like could be just first game in the tweets. Maybe these guys have it wrong?
Yes, RealGM has it wrong. Wow, there's a shocker. ;)

Note: It appears RealGM and some other reports stem from a tweet that was poorly worded from News10Sean. Bryan May, also from News10, posted the same info but phrased much better. To summarize and translate, News10 will carry 11 Kings games this year. Of those 11, only the home opener on Oct. 30 will be broadcast commercial free so fans at home will get as much of the opening night experience as possible.

Are they going to make the games viewable for those of us without cable or willingness to spend $189 for League Pass? Heh.

They've made it pretty hard for casual fans to keep track of the team which becomes a feedback loop, out of sight, out of mind. It would be nice if there were a per game option on NBA Live.

over 10% of their regular season games are on channel 10. If you are a casual fan, that is about how many you would watch on TV, no?

A casual fan isn't scheduling their life around free Kings games on TV so 10% of the schedule means very few games for them probably, and who even knows if they're good ones.

It seems like this is an improvement over what we've had though.
