The Emperor and Green Goblin posed little trouble for The Round Table in the last round, and neither do their disciple and knockoff in this round. The Hobgoblin may fly circles around Spiderman, but he's just the Green Goblin minus the mad-scientist inventing ability. Vader's good for choking out his weak-minded underlings or screwing with Luke's head with ironic familial revelations, but he will find no such targets today. This pair can't stand up to the combined mind and fist assaults of Psylocke and Mr. Majestic.

Zod would have been a good one-on-one matchup for Ion back when he was just an ordinary Daxamite. WOULD have, except that Ion bathes him in kryptonite radiation, and everything Ion does to him after that is just overkill and better left unsaid.

Megatron's got that fusion-powered cannon going for him. Unfortunately, he's facing Dr. Manhattan who was BORN of nuclear radiation and is now the master of all forms of it. Manhattan renders the fusion reaction and energon cubes inert, and now Megatron is just another piece of machinery to be telekinetically disassembled.

Sephiroth appears to have a certain set of magical based abilities, but he can't match Dr. Fate's infinite array of mystical powers and knowledge.

As one of the earth's elements, fire is of no concern to Isis. She brings down torrential rains to quench Trogdor's burnination and then she....rips up the piece of paper he's drawn on? ;) Or are we to assume he manifests as a physical dragon in our world? Even still, he may be the terror of every stick figure villager, but Isis can take care of this reptile with a few good punches to the snout.

Have no fear people of Earth! Good triumphs once again!

"Evil will always triumph because good is dumb."

Now is the time, everyone - let evil win!
Tap into your innermost desire to let the bad guy win - let evil win!
Allow the dark reign of terror to bring order to our galaxy - let evil win!

Finally, I'll be frank. Who are those heroes anyway?

You got my vote... Flawed villains are always more interesting. And, I'll be honest... I've heard of more of your guys than those heroes.

I don't understand all the hate for the obscure picks. Sure, you might not have heard of them, but they're some of the best "Heroes" ever published. Read the write-ups that NME did, it is pretty self explainatory that his team is freakin' gravy, and his Dr. Duo alone is perfect against any villain thrown his way. I'm no expert on Trogdor, or Sephiroth either, but I respect those picks...

???? I made a comment about why I voted the way I did. You might not agree with it, but sorry...that's why I chose Spike.

As commissioner, I'd think you'd be neutral in this proceeding. Who do you think you are? David Stern???

:p

How Evil Wins:

Armed with a tachyon accelerator on his cannon (available technology on Cyberton - I did my research), Megatron is able to deliver a precise laser blow to eliminate Dr. Manhattan, thereby eliminating him. Evil knows to take off the head of the snake quickly, and the rest falls into place.

Dr. Fate and Darth Vader engage in a rather quick battle. Dr. Fate's main weakness is that he is, in fact, mortal. With a force choke, Dr. Fate is unable to breathe, and as such, cannot use magic. Besides, random "magic" vs. "The Force?" I know what wins there.

Mr. Majestic is basically Superman, and he battles with General Zod to a draw, at which point Sephiroth impaled Mr. Majestic with his blade, felling him. Evil does not play fair.

Isis was worshiped as the ideal mother, wife, matron of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, and the downtrodden....hardly someone who would battle evil, especially with her ties to the underworld. She would try and cuddle Trogdor in a motherly fashion, at which point Trogdor burninates her.

During this time the Hobgoblin just annoys Psylocke and Ion, keeping them busy. Once Megatron disintegrates Dr. Manhattan, as he can certainly do, the rest become target practice.

Advantage: Evil.

These were both amongst my favorite teams through the voting (aside from mine, of course... seriously, out in the first round?), so it was a tough choice.

Ultimately, Trogdor made up my mind.

Spike, my vote went for you since I couldn't settle for the team that eliminated me not winning it all. :p

No, in all seriousness, I think The Force is what puts you over the top here. I stand by my premise that The Force is one of the most powerful weapons in this draft.

BTW, even though Luke should have beat Vader... you have the coolest villain in the draft. :)

Wow. You managed to take out Dr. Manhattan... you win... you win...

Yeah right, because Dr. Manhattan can be taken out with a laser. Even if a laser would do anything to him, which is unlikely, he can reassemble himself if all of his particles are completely dispersed.

That's like saying: "I throw a ham sandwich at Superman, killing him."

Fate doesn't need to vocalize to use magic, and he also is not weakminded and susceptible to the force.

Mr. Majestic is basically Superman, and he battles with General Zod to a draw, at which point Sephiroth impaled Mr. Majestic with his blade, felling him. Evil does not play fair.

Sephiroth's sword is exceptionally long (let's not get into the psychology of that) but a conventional blade that wouldn't hurt Majestic. And Zod isn't fighting anybody to a draw when Ion hits him with kryptonite radiation or Manhattan transmutes a block of kryptonite around him.

Isis was worshiped as the ideal mother, wife, matron of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, and the downtrodden....hardly someone who would battle evil, especially with her ties to the underworld. She's not the goddess Isis, nor is she stupid.

During this time the Hobgoblin just annoys Psylocke and Ion, keeping them busy.

He doesn't keep either of them busy for longer than the two seconds they would require to take down a guy with an ugly mask and a glider.

Why yes, yes it can, actually. :D Are you not aware of Dr. Manhattan's Tachyon weakness, a technology employed BY Transformers? His fate has been predetermined, as he will tell you, and can do nothing to change it. Besides, Megatron in the hands of Vader? Come on now, that's just too freakin' sweet.

It's hard to reassemble yourself with The Force keeping you apart. People really need to understand the power of The Force. It's all around us, it's not just a mind trick to over-power the weak-willed. You are one with the universe. You are here, yet everywhere. The fact that it can be harnessed to the level that it is by Vader is unfathomable. That is why so many are mesmerized by The Force and by those who can work with it.

Evil always assumes victory before the final bell. I'm going to hold on for about an hour.

It's official. Congrats Spike, your villains receive the first Kings Fans trophy of TDOS! Well played, and happy burnination! Hopefully we heroes can defeat you later this summer in the heroes/villains rematch:)

Congrats to Spike and to NME. They are the dirty culprits who eliminated both my Hero and Villain team; can't complain too much about losing to the teams in the finals.

This was a lot of fun! I hope we can play another hero related draft in the future (I still contend a worst hero and worst villain team draft would be a hoot!).

Thank you to all of you for making this a LOT of fun; by far my favorite draft(s) so far! GO KINGS!
