I'd love to see Hawes bury the three for the win. In fact, in my world it's going to happen. I BELIEVE!!!

there wasn't even a screen. Salmons just turned his head and Wade blew right past
That's what Merdiesel was referring to. Salmons was afraid there WAS going to be a high screen, which is why he turned and looked. If he knew his teammates would call it, he wouldn't have looked. I don't blame Salmons for that; he was trying to cover himself in case Wade cut for the basket...

oh right. my bad

I think Jerry said it best tonight: We have witnessed Spencer Hawes growing up before our eyes!

Despite the loss, I turn off my tv tonight VERY EXCITED!!

Pretty much, it showed more lack of trust than anything else.

You know what we can take from this?

HEART!!!!

And Spencer Hawes has shown that he definitely has it. I can live with a loss like this, even though it's extremely disappointing to see them come so close. I can guarantee that Spencer Hawes isn't going to be happy about this loss; he's going to be working harder than ever and pushing his teammates to his level. This could end up being a good learning experience, once the frustration and pain of "so close" goes away.

Spencer Hawes. Our future... and it's looking brighter.

...? I know there wasn't a screen. But because this team doesn't call out screens (i.e. Garcia getting layed out twice) our guys depend on getting around them on there own. I'm not defend that idiotic play, I'm just saying that would be my idea as to why he did that.

EDIT:: i didn't see VF's post above, sorry.

It was an awesome effort by Hawes, who is just coming back from his injury and was pretty invisible all game until the 4th quarter. I just wish his teammates would play with the same kind of heart...*cough*MILLER*cough*!

I'm so sick of this horrible offense. When the Kings need a bucket, especially during the Heat's run in the 4th, it's all perimeter based. 4 guys on the 3 point line, and their guards are taking screens at the line and trying to get something going with those. This should be an inside-out offense with Hawes.

We were lucky, very lucky to get to overtime and then we were dumb enough to give up a game we had in our hands.

At least there was energy in this game and excitement. Now Mavs and Magic - when will we win a game again ?

I'm going to go out on a big limb right now and predict we beat the Mavericks. And I think we'll do it off a career night from Hawes and about a bazillion points from Kevin...

We have no point guard that can run the floor and lead our team for a full game.

Mavs got trashed in Phoenix. They lost by 28 and it wasn't even that close. They will try to make that up. It will be difficult borderline impossible.

Magic are playing insane

The we go ti GSW which is winnable

We could beat the Bucks or Wizards at home couple games later.

I would rather beat a good team and lose to direct competition for the lottery.
