Didn't realize this much resentment had been built up, perhaps because 'Toine rode Wade and Shaq's backs to a ring? Speaking out on whether or not he could team with AI Pierce had this to say:

"I think it would work out with the two of us," said Pierce. "I played with the biggest jacker in league history in Antoine Walker, didn't I? He was just jacking up shots. At least Iverson might go hit them at a higher clip and get to the free throw line."

The Celts are my #2 team and I was never high on Walker but I'm not exactly a huge Pierce fan either. The Celtics have had their best years since the Lewis tragedy
when the two of them were together. Alone neither amounted to much success although Pierce did put up some nice numbers last year. I just can't believe he said this as a professional despite the fact that from a fan's standpoint its entirely true.
