K-mart doing his thing.
and Natt will probably start Gooden over JTI really like seeing Martin, Greene, JT, and Hawes all out there at the same time. Maybe its finally time to start getting Greene some consistent minutes.

Heh -- once the Hawks fire Woodson we have just GOT to get that guy as our coach. Its takes real talent to almost singlehandedly manufacture a 19-2 run for the other team with idiotic personnel choices and coaching decisions, but he just did it. Hey, let's suddenly try out a zone that we have apparently never played before leading to mass confusion! Hey, let's see how many times Suckamon Jones can try to defend KMart and end up fouling him! Woohoo! I would love to see he and Natt play a game of chess -- it would be completely random.
... so technically our players could fail there physicals![]()
There are at least a couple of reasons why this won't happen...
1. Gooden has been nursing an injury and most likely won't be playing significant minutes.
2. Drew Gooden isn't part of the future of the franchise. These are interim moves, not player acquisitions as part of a push towards the playoffs.
Yeah thats what we think but does it ever turn out that way? I can almost guarantee you Gooden and Nocioni are going to take a bunch of minutes away from the kids while giving us absolutely nothing when it comes to the future. I wish none of these guys we traded for would even show up.
Kevin Martin is now the veteran of the team. (Bobby doesn't count in my book since he left and came back...)
I predict Nocioni replaces Garcia as starting SF. Cisco returns to his usual role as solid 6th man. Gooden is injured goods at the moment and probably plays very little until the season ends and is NOT resigned. Meanwhile, there may be other deals in the works or at the least Noc plays well (w/Donte others backing him up) and is showcased for a deal in offseason - if it makes sense.
As i posted in the other thread I'm hoping gooden fails his physical and we can turn around and quickly re-deal with OKC instead... They have real expirings and we don't have to take on long term players and have a few last 1sts to deal! Back to dream world I go
I understand the word hope, but it may be a mute point. We knew Gooden was injured when we dealt for him and may simply waive his physical.
