The Sacramento Kings took a gamble when they selected Harry Giles III with the 20th overall selection in the 2017 NBA Draft. Giles looked solid with limited talent around him during the California Classic and in Las Vegas for Summer League. It's the type of player the Kings have needed for a long time, although all expectations should be qualified with the fact that Giles has played very few minutes in the last three years.

He has the tools and a great attitude. Unlike plenty of pro athletes, being injured has humbled him up. He is hungry to be out there.

Time will tell if his body can take the pounding of the NBA. It is his only negative that I can see. I love the guy.
I just wanna say I think Harry was humble before the injuries, back when he was the #1 ranked player. He was never one of those kids that came off as entitled to me. I think he knew from a very early stage that his game spoke for itself.
