Granger out now

Entity

Hall of Famer
ok so our first 3 games on the road now chicago without Rose. Minn without Love.
Indiana without Granger.

i still say we go 1-2 being realistic. home openers are tough games no matter who we are playing. 2-1 exceeds my expecations but not impossible. Chicago will be the toughest imo. Despite not having Rose, they are still a great defensive team, we have to try and turn it into a up and down track meet and go inside to cousins when we are forced to play halfcourt.

We really have to take advantage of these opportunities. If they can't capitalize early on these injured teams our season could be bleak.

the Kings HAVE to go 2-1 on the trip. CHI is sub par right now, and even with Rose we have had success against the Bulls. Indiana is a very complete and deep team so this is the only game ill be semi-OK with if the kings lose it, and Minnesota is a must win, they have so many injuries and so many new pieces on this team to get used to, i would say if the Kings lose that one, they are in for a bad bad season

Minny has Rick as a coach. They will not be a cakewalk. We *should* win based on talent, but that isn't always the deciding factor.

Man, what I wouldn't give to have the Maloofs gone and Rick here as coach again with the team we are building.

I definitely agree with first part but Adelman as coach here again I'm not sure. Not that he's not a great coach especially of veteran talent. I wonder if he would have been able to mesh with Cousins especially early on. One thing I give Kieth Smart credit for is getting DMC more under control and helping him finally start to mature.

Adelman is a good coach, but the TWolves are without their 2 best players and have so many new players, they should not have a chance to beat the Kings if they play good

Cousins had struggles against physical guys like Pek and taller centers like Hibbert. So I would there is still a chance for a 0-3 start unless DMC brings his A game and overcome his difficulties last year.

I think JJ will be a key for us too. A lot of teams easily discount our SF being either undersized or offensively dormant. But JJ would really give us that surprise factor against any team from now on.

Can't wait for our first game. I'm planning to get a league pass finally. Because for the first time since Ron Artest, we have a potentially very nice piece at SF to complement Reke and DMC. And not to mention a PG too.

I believe we were 6-27 on the road (or some such dismal mark) in truncated last NBA season.

Hopefully, we get at least one, wow me with two road wins on this first away trip of 2012-13 - not to end up again as, "good the Kings are coming" road kill.

Cousins did pretty good against Hibbert last year 13pts 19reb and we won against Indy the only time we played them. we also started Salmons in that game. 6pts 3 reb

I'm just gonna take the games one at a time:) Tonight a win in ChiTown. Our starters are good defensively and there is plenty of offensive firepower coming off the bench.
