Toughest poll of the year but then that means a team win, each making tangible contributions and all playing a bit better on defense. Liked Cuz playing within himself whole game, an encouraging sight. Ben stepping up was great.

Now lets see if they can repeat it next game.

This was a team win. One of the few times cousins doesn't have to carry the whole team. Everyone stepped up last night.

I was at the game last night, and I have to say Omri is my vote for player of the game. His big shots brought any Clippers momentum down to a halt and totally silenced the crowd. I love this new Omri that is no longer just and energetic, but hits the big shots at a amazingly high clip.Other misc. notes:

-Belinelli is just frustrating to watch, at least when his offense isn't going. He just doesn't seem to work or have the needed awareness to help us on D. Just pointless out there at times.
-Ben looked great - the kid is fast.
-WCS is just so valuable. I loved hearing the Clippers fan ooh and ahh on fast breaks as they get ready to go ballistic off another dunk, only for Willie to put a quick end to that.
-Kings fans! Pretty strong kings fans showing down in LA. I heard cheers from time to time and saw many walking through the concourse. Even saw some of the crown downtown crew walking through the concourse, but I was too far away to give them a shout out. It was a great game to attend.

I liked your post because it was clever, but not sure I agree with your assessment of CP3's killer instinct. The Clippers as a whole? No doubt.

Meh, when Paul was in NO I used to think that on a better team he could lead them all the way, but bare minimum, now that he has a better team and IS the leader, the only things I saw him lead last year was a group Eeyore impression when the going got tough and a a beggars banquet in the middle of the night in Dallas where he had to promise to stop picking on DeAndre and let him have a turn. Color me not impressed with his fearless leadership. But I also have to echo your sentiments about his underhanded play and general vomit worthy play.

1) I don't think Bels was really that bad this game. Made smart cuts and passes.

2) I think we have to effectively consider Caron Butler off the team until his trade. He hasn't played even in blowouts, and you have to assume there is some sort of agreement there.

Our team is encouraging me in recent days- Casspi is playing better, Cuz is also, Karl is beginning to make better use of his players, Gay is showing signs, even Ben has earned some good words, Collisonn looked good in LA, Rondo is holding his own, Koufos and Bellinelli have had their moments and Willie is back and playing good defense. keep it up guys. Do that and we'll win a few more games. Encouraging and leaning in the right direction.

Now if we can only get Cuz and Willie to learn how to finish better at the rim it would add 6-8 pts/gm for both. Maybe Willie also needs to learn FT shooting from Cuz. Small things but big impact when theres a 2-3 pt game in last few minutes. Willie just needs minutes and mentoring.
