Well they take Koufos out.... and the comebacks Are always made with him on the bench.... it's happened every single game this year... temple coincidentally is always on the floor when the team comes back....

Well, considering they did not fall behind early last night, and that seems like a bit of an exaggeration. I do agree the starting lineup has been a bit frustrating but with koufos playing better of late I think we are starting to see his strategy pay off. I for one am glad coach is not as reactionary as some on this board (myself included).

Lawson looking for his offense and looking much more like his old self again. Hope he continues the aggressive play.

Tolliver hit his 3's but the guy is a solid defender. He has his weaknesses due to being a tweener but the guy just makes the right decisions on that side of the floor. His stat lines might not jump out at you but most of the work he does wont show up in the box score.

Cousins was awesome again. His passing out of double and triple teams was beautiful. It's also awesome to see him drain consecutive three's almost every night. Seems like he shoots over 50% from 3 in the second half of games.

Collison with another bad game but the weird thing is that his stats actually look much better on the season than I expected. I was surprised when I saw them. I don't think the Dragic deal will happen but ESPN is talking about a trade rumor for Brandon Knight and I really hope that doesn't happen. Collison is a better player than Knight. Knight has averaged more points per game during some of his seasons but with much lower efficiency. Collison could do the same simply by shooting more often. That's a bad trade.

Shout out to Barnes for the solid defense on Wiggins who almost always tears Rudy Gay a new one. Glad his 3 point shot is getting back on track because sometimes he's just a dog out there if his shot isn't falling. That drive and turn around layup on Wiggins was nice.

After protecting our cap space this summer the last thing I see us doing is squandering our cap space on Goran Dragic, who has played pretty good this year, though led his team to a pathetic 10-21 record in a pathetic conference, and due 17M 18M and 19M after this year when he will be 32, 33 and 34 years old. We need to use our cap space prudently, since we will likely be giving Boogie a 200M extension this summer....which he will likely sign.

Elfrid Payton and Cameron Payne are better options to preserve cap space while seeking long term solutions at PG. And while I am it, I am opposed to trading for Brandon Knight as much as Dragic, due 13.6M, 14.6M, and 15.6M after this year for a guy who shoots 40% FGs. Yeah, no thanks.

Cap space was always important. It becomes more important with the new CBA and the money we can reserve for Boogie. This means incurring these bloated contracts for guys like Gragic and Knight, who have led their teams nowhere, becomes dubious proposition. It would wreak of desperation if we go out and acquire these guys, chasing the 8th seed while resigning yourself to pretender status and 1st round fodder.

Temple needs to be on the floor in the 4th. He's such a physical defender that we don't need him picking up those early fouls. We need him on the floor late, not sitting because of foul trouble.

The last three games where awesome. The Kings look like a very good team. They took Minnesota's best shot and showed resiliency. In the past they would have given up under this kind of bombardment. But now they answer back time and again hitting shots in return. It was impressive. Cousins was good as always. But this is a team now and others stepped up when needed. I hope this continues!

Yes, they are coming back but that's what they have done all year. The problem early on is that they couldn't come back far enough. This is what having veterans and a coach you like can do.

I think you are absolutely right. I wouldn't say this to their face as I think both are decent players but Koufus and McLemore III may very well be foul savers. I am a Kosta fan, BTW. Hey I pointed out that he ran a great set play at at the end...that was a great call!!!
And to his credit the players that aren't pissed over there playing time and getting jerked around like cousins they seem to like him.... and he's not running that horrible defensive scheme Karl was.... but for all the good he's doing he's simply costing us the best chance to win. We are still winning... but it's unfortunate that he's cost us about 4/5 wins due to lineups and personnel.

Nope. Mclemore might get washed out of the league at this point. There are 60 teenager's ready to replace him every year and I wouldn't pay him personally.

You don't need to do Reddit to view it. It was comparing how he plays basketball to reading on a 1st grade level. Basically, 42.9% of the time he fouls someone in the act of shooting, they make it.

Looks about right......it goes back to Temple can't play all 48......it is a problem with what Ben is giving us. We might be better off with Casspi starting at the 2 before Temple gets his run. Casspi can't be worse although he might hav trouble with some quicker 2s.

And I do think I've seen enough from Malachi to,say that he is better than Ben....not that it's a stretch.

I don't hate the idea of starting Richardson in order to maintain the rotation, entirely... but I'm philosophically opposed to doing it before we actually get rid of McLemore. I would dispute the idea that he's shown us enough to say definitively that he's better than McLemore, however, he's played a grand total of twenty-two minutes. He's probably better than McLemore, just based on the principle of "What are the chances that he could be any worse?", but he's hardly proven he's better; catch McLemore in the right light, on the right night, and he occasionally looks like an NBA player, too.

But who is missing the open threes, though? Towns or Rubio or Wiggins missing wide-open threes doesn't involve the same amount of "luck" as, say, Levine missing wide-open threes, and Levine's threes weren't as wide-open in the fourth as they were through the first three quarters.

Despite the detestable proliferation of the damnable three-point shot in the 'modern' NBA, playing the percentages is (usually) still good coaching.

Reading posts that are praising improvements of the Kings team and lack of Rudy as a reason for recent wins, specially from posters that were critical a few weeks ago makes me laugh.

This is the same team as month ago.
The same.
It was better before than it was creddited for and it is not significantly better now than month ago.
We are borderline playoff team.

We lost some close ones on the road month ago and whistle robbed us from at least one win. Swing of couple wins makes W/L record look lousy.
Now we won some close on the road and whistle went in our favor. We look great.

The nature of the beast is that for the close games, and Kings are playing a ton of them this year, the luck plays a big deal.
W/L record does not show the real picture until the end of the season.

It won't be too long in the distant future where Ben will be playing overseas somewhere. Maybe a team can make some use of him and one day he can consistently knock down the jump shot without having to do much of anything else and play him in small spurts for floor spacing.

Temple should be starting, that much is pretty clear. For literally no reason, we're giving opposing SG's 8-10 minutes of non-Temple defense. Thehe team is better with Temple on the floor and we should be maximizing his defense on the best opposing wing, not other bench guys.
