ugh isnt hawes backing up on a bad team right now anyways? isnt mason starting over casspi? and nocioni...
im not serious about missing miller and salmons but damn... you really couldnt tell by the way this team is being run. instead of benching our young players to start a couple of overpaid vets we are benching them for sean may and mason.... thats worse. at least slamons and miller were actually better than the players that they were starting over. the same can not be said of may and mason. or even evans for that matter, yeah i said it.... one game into the regular season.
so was i, half a blunt and a big mac. not just any big mac, it had bacon and tomato on it with no pickles.... delicious.... oh and a green tea arizona.
Put pickles on your big Mac, and trade out the green tea for a cervesa next time and things will look better to you. As a matter of fact. Have a supply of cervesa's and you wont' even care..![]()
You rant about starting starting older acquistions over our young guys, but then criticize starting Evans over Sergio. Why is it logical argument on one side, but not the other?
Well, that wasn't my intent, so I worded it badly. But I see no reason to start Sergio over Evans. It benefits the future of this team to play Evans as much as possible. He'll be the better player by far, regardless of whether he ultimately ends up being a PG or SG.Sergio's a month older than JT, and several months older than Brockman. Surely you can find better ammunition for your argument than to claim that he's too old to be starting.
If I am not wrong and common sense dictates, I think she was talking in terms of how long they've been in the NBA.Sergio's a month older than JT, and several months older than Brockman. Surely you can find better ammunition for your argument than to claim that he's too old to be starting.
Rubio A+
10 points qualifies as double digits, too, even if not applicable to the point I know you were trying to make. I would have been okay with 10 points. OK is not a bad team. They are a few years ahead of us in rebuilding.F-. No team should lose by double digits to bad teams. Not even other bad teams.
I do believe the Kings lost 102-89. Thats 13 points. Thats double digits.10 points qualifies as double digits, too, even if not applicable to the point I know you were trying to make. I would have been okay with 10 points. OK is not a bad team. They are a few years ahead of us in rebuilding.
Not defending the Kings poor play, just musing about the reasoning.
So in your estimation its completely inexcusable for any team to lose by double digits to any other team? Not sure I get the orignal remark then. And OKC is definitely not a bad team.
Blah Blah Blah. You people sound like a broken record. I see the same ones are still pushing Evans isn't a pg and blah blah we suck blah blah. Our coach doesn't know what he is doing blah blah. geeez at least come up with new material.
thats because we are all waiting to say, "i told you so..." to someone else on this site. thats why we keep saying that we are right. onc ewe are we can say, "thats what ive been saying the entire time but you didnt want to listen..."
but fine, lets try something new... sean may isnt a center.... and not only does this team suck we totally lack the talent to compete against even bad nba teams. the thunder are just as bad as we are and we didnt stand a chance of winning that game from the opening tip off...
martin can score but he isnt good enough offensively to carry a team this bad. we need players that compliment each other. this is just a random collection of players that dont belong together.... they could all go to different teams and have very successful careers but just not together.
all of that after one game? well it doesnt take a whole day to recognize sunshine.
Must have been grading on a curve...
I've been totally against trading players like Garcia, Hawes, and Martin... but I still don't see a direction with this team and as time goes by the more necessary I think trading them is going to be to get on track. We still seem to be missing...
1. A intimidating big man. (Al Jefferson, Tyson Chandler, Okafor, Nene)
2. A clutch high volume scorer/ (Carmelo Anthony, Danny Granger)
3. A play maker.
4. A defensive player.
We could be the only team in the league that is completely void of all 4 of those. Their is still a chance Thompson becomes a huge beast, and Hawes toughens up a little. Tyreke could become our unstoppable player possibly. That's pretty much the only direction I can see the FO banking on... but those are alot of "ifs". I can tell you right now what we see in Martin right now is all we are going to get. He could be very valuable to us in the long run, but its time to realize that he isn't Brandon Roy.
