Don't Make Me Use The Bat
Uncompetitive blowout = there will be girls. Them's the rules.

Casspi ( C- ) -- one of numerous Kings who came out to the start of this one like they had just been roused from a nap. Or maybe were in fact still snoozing. Bad start, but then got fouled on a three point shot, which you were thinking, yay, finaly something to turn us around! And then he missed 2 of the 3 FTs. Had another moment a minute later where he got on the break for a dunk from Beno, which led to...nothing. The team seriously looked tired. I have no idea why. On one early rebound Omri just stood there -- didn't even move his feet as the ball fell 5 feet away from him. And everything was short shootingwise. People will talk about what a clinic the Spurs put on, but I'm sorry, we lost this one far more than they won it. Finally hit his (and our) first three in the early third on the Reke kick, leading to...Omri giving it right back making a defensive mistake and leaving Neal open in the corner for the three to answer. Gets some semblance of a grade here because of just enough productivity, and even more importantly to leave some room beneath him gradewise.
Barbara Mori -- Mexican telenovela actress, channeling Megan Fox above. She is also, at 33, already a cancer survivor, thank god. To get looks like those btw, you need a mix of Uruguayan, Mexican and Japanese ancestors. Throw them in a bag, shake them all about, and voila!
Dalembert ( D ) -- disappointing outing as he came out flat as could be and was a significant reason for the Spurs jumping us early. Looked shaky offensively, including missing an alley oop dunk, and was having issues on defense too, where the Spurs big men really don't venture outside and should have been easy for him to contend with. In particular kept getting drawn up in pick and rolls and then beat to the rim by a slashing Parker. Just very very flat. Picked up his 4th foul before halftime, and his 5th quickly in the htird, but never gave us anything to make us regret his departure from the game. Gave us a little something in the 4th to aviod the F, finally staying on the floor for the long stretch, and getting on the boards, which he had not been doing, and has not been as good at of late. But still blew the follow tip at the 6:30 mark, and in general just has a game to forget.
Melinda Poznik -- Bulgarian lingerie model
Cousins ( D+ ) -- like most of thre rest of the team seemwd to have little energy early, and I again has a litel question mark with him seeing the Spurs and Tim Duncan for the first time. As it was with Shaq, there seemed to be an element of possible awe/jsur watchign a boyhood idol thing going on oout there. Can't be sure of course. In their primes those guys were also, aside form being legends, 2 of the toughest big men in league history to score on. But Demarcus, who is normally rampantly aggressive, just has looked almost unwilling to even try to beat them and find out. When he quit settling he got his first hoop as he finally went to the basket, notably once Duncan was gone and replaced by his much weaker replacement Tiago Splitter (just don't tell Carl he is weak). Began to be more effective with the power game and rebounding too, but overall just nothing offensively before half and was going to require abig second half to keep his string of 20pt games going. Did not get it. Came up with a strong drive and finish to start the thrid, but fell on his hand and came up grimacing and had to leave a minute later. Was back quickly, which suggests a jam or maybe a quick dislocation, but never realy did anythign thereafter. Far too many turnovers as he forfced stuff that was not there, and eventually sat for a very long stretch as I thought he was not going to come back at all with the game teertering on a blowout for much of the last 47 minutes. Did get back in what felt like ashaky move by Westphal to have both Reke and Cousins, your two young pillars, slogging semi-garbagetime minutes right to the end of this one and risking injury, but maybe Coach was trying to say somehing about us never giving up, and leting the kids absorb more lessons from the Spurs' execution or something. Demarcus added one final jumper, and that was that. One thing he did do on the night was rebound, grabbing 10 in 24 minutes -- and just like Daly that and that alone is worth some little grade here.
Emilie de Ravin -- Aussie actress, apparently coming up through Lost and Roswell
Udrih ( B- ) -- had maybe the fewest notes on Beno of anybody on the team, and yet he was the only guy on the squad who could shoot. Part of it was how the scoring was coming -- was hitting little jumpers form the start, but that's all they were, little jumpers. Improtant for us becuase nobody else was hitting them, but there were none of the spectacular spin drives, only a solitary isolated three etc. So not much to really note. And the rest of the game...I think ins ome ways Beno has become a bellweather for the Kings. When the Kings are hustling and scrapping, he hustles and scraps. he has not been an anchor refusing to get dirty...as long as everybody else does. He reflects the team spirit. But tongiht...there was none of that. None from the team, and when there is none from the team, none from Beno. There were very few scrappy plays, no rebounds, back to Beno basiuc defense (which is to say fuggetaboutit)...nothing else to talk about. And so you get Beno having a very efficient game offensively, shooting when nobody else could, and yet never really having an impact on the game. It was not a bad performance, and indeed he was one of few main guys to bring something to the table. But he's had a lot worse shooting nights where he's had a much more tangible impact on the game. In this one you barely noticed if he was in or out.
Violante Placido -- Italian actress who figured out that one good way to get known outside of Italy is to appear in a movie with George Clooney -- she starred opposite him in The American.
