Definitely. Though a Larry Nance would probably be ideal next to Cousins.
Nobody in the current NBA that I'd compare Nance to. But a John Henson or Larry Sanders would do.
The guys currently in the league that fit the role and are obtainable is a remarkably short list:
John Henson (concerns about build, offensive role)
Larry Sanders (contract, attitude)
Taj Gibson (might be best fit but will Chicago move him)
Robin Lopez (who we stupidly could have already had)
Maybe Terrence Jones
If we realistically want to add a shot blocking big next to Cousins it's going to be one of these guys or someone we draft. We could always go the defender/thug that doesn't block shots route but we'd have to upgrade defenders in the backcourt to compensate for the lack of a rim protector.
