I don't think this is what you meant, but hopefully they don't make a trade just to make a trade. The two they have made since the start of the season have had decent (Williams)/excellent (Gay) returns.

I am just happy that this ownership/front office is willing to take risks and make trades. Standing pat with a mediocre team changes nothing from year to year. This FO has made a concerted effort to stir things up. Unload the Petrie era hangers on and try something new. ANYTHING is better than the below .500 group with the losing mentality the Kings have had for years now. I'm not saying just trade for sake of trading. I'm saying make moves and be aggressive and see if you can make something happen.

Ok. I think were on the same page. As fans, we also need to remember they have warned us or admitted that not all moves are going to work out. It remains to be seen if the Landry signing will be one of those.

I'm fine with 1-2 year mistakes. A 4 year mistake that got rid of nothing? That's hard to swallow.

It's already a mistake. No way around that.

Most likely true on all counts. But it will be interesting to see how the picture looks at the start of next season. Right now???????????

Well, we need guards obviously. This is pretty bad right now.

Some of the pfs need to go. Just not sure Landry is even tradeable with his contract.

He might still be eligible to play, charged/arrested not being synonymous with convicted.

There is nothing like an accusation from a wife while going through a divorce. Not saying he is innocent, but I have seen some cruel stuff happen during many divorces.

The reports I have read were that he was threatening his girlfriend with a gun, being a distinct individual from his wife, but his wife turned the gun in to the police.

Edit: Edited to add, if this was an attempt by his wife/wife's lawyer to extort more money in a divorce settlement and it results in his contract being void due to felony charges and it reduces her alimony as a result, that might bring a smile to my face.

the report that I heard was that it was his wife that was threatened. And then he left the gun there after you left.

Per Sports Illustrated (link), looks like we were both right. He is alleged to have threatened both wife and mistress.

The article gives a good rundown of the likely outcomes.
