Tyreke is looking so much more comfortable in crunch time now

I voted for Casspi for not catching Reke´s pass.
Play of the day..
Thank God we still won this thing...

Just watched replay of game as missed parts of the live broadcast.

1st quarter Tyreke: B
2nd quarter Tyreke: B+
3rd quarter Tyreke: A-
4th quarter Tyreke: A
Overtime Tyreke: A+

Reke overall grade: A-

Omri was super in 1st and 2nd quarter but after half-time tired as long night wore on. In fact, I saw him yawn in one of the time-out huddles in OT. Maybe his commitments and running around in NYC finally wore him out a bit.

Tyreke earned an "A" for the last 7 min and overtime but the rest of the game for him was a straight "B". Greene and JT are slowing becoming more consistent improving their grades for a game not just for 7 min or single quarter spurts. It was one game and showed what they can do when they play team ball and crash the offensive boards.

But overall their interior defense is a long way from being acceptable as is their ability to more closely cover the perimeter shooters. Too many open easy shots by the other team. Sure there were really good spurts of overall defense then they lapse in 3 seconds.

All played along for the first half and kept close and kept TO's down (big +). But in the end they all stepped up big time to close the down 15 gap in 3-4 minutes. The Knicks contributed a least a half a grade point for most of our guys with their one-on-one stuff, especially Robinson and their lack of team play. An A for everyone the last 7 min and OT. A B- for 3 quarters up to the last 7 min.

kingsguy you wanna be the new kings PG with your great court awareness? :p

Lol, the real funny part? I'm going off of memory from last night. My job blocks youtube links...

Wow, I can't believe we won!!! I turned it off in the fourth quarter thinking "how can they lose so many games in the fourth:(". So fast forward until now and I am ecstatic(just looked at the score), I kinda wish I watched it.:D

So what is the word on Hawes and Beno? It seems like they may have gotten themselves into trouble. I know that Beno yelled at hawes the other night and PW did not seem to like it. Maybe they continue to bicker at each other and PW put them in a time-out until they can start acting nice again.

Just a theory. I really have no idea.

Mainly bad defense by both.

What was interesting about that is that Tyreke took all the responsibility for that pass. He didn't blame Omri, even though it appeared to me that he should have made an attempt to catch the ball. Kind of refreshing after Beno's finger pointing.

It was nice to see JT have a good game. Still a lot of room for improvement, but he was terrific in the fourth quarter and the overtime. I don't know how many noticed but Lee didn't do anything against Thompson in the fourth or the overtime. Plus, Thompson got revenge on Nate for jumping on top of Evans, by jumping on top of Nate. If it were only that simple..:)
