I Haven't Noticed if Adelman is Telling Him .. NO !!!!

I applaud a lot of Evans efforts but I have problems with his shooting from outside. I would like to see him go in for closer jumpers, instead of jacking up quick shots from outside.

I like his efforts on rebounding and his hustle. I just don't think he's a better offensive option than Cat.

With all his hustle and hard work underneath, I'm under the impression that Adelman is rewarding Evans with the "green light" if he's open - out on the perimeter. I've noticed he's only taking those shots when he is open. He's not rushing it, he's got his feet set, he squares up to the basket and takes his shot. Sometimes it goes in ....

Point of Bricks grades is not a game winning shot, but the game as a whole. We shouldn't have been in the position we were in first place. We were up by 16 points and not one but him made shots in the 4th and Peja missing inexplicably easy shots. Defense is solely what won the game. Had that not been there (with Webber and no Skinner or Corliss), we probably would have lost the game and Bibbys 3 would have been just that, a 3 pointer. So I agree with the A-. Had House made that 3 pointer, how can you give the guy who barely played 5 minutes an A+. Come on.

Bibby

Bibby definetly deserves an A+ he won that game for us. He might have played not do great the first three quarters, but it came down to his shot and he made it, so A+ for bibby! :)

Christie Is Greatly Missed

bibby is the keeper at point, we agree on that? so who better fits his game as the "other" guard. Defensive minded, can shoot when needed, plays a hard attack the board style...... I'm just not convinced that Cat is the yang to Mike's Ying

I agree with you, i think we need Christie back. Mobley and Bibby just dont play good together becuase Bibby usually doesnt get back on defence and nither does Mobley so that usually ends up with a layup for the other team. Now if we still had Christie this wouldnt be an issue. WE NEED CHRISTIE BACK!

Songaila ( B- ) -- nice solid first half in support of the Evans/Skinner hustle duo. Worked hard, was uncommonly strong on the glass for Darius, and still settled down to stroke his jumper. Started to attack the middle in the third, but less effective down there than he had been from the outside. Had a rough end to the third, when he and Bibby combined for some careless turnovers, and he was moved over to center alongside Corliss and Peja -- the Grizz started to dominate the middle with that alignment. And really looked like he was lacking confidence with his play in the 4th quarter

Makes one wonder if that change in position had anything to do with the entire team going into a drought. I couldn't figure out what was going wrong, other than shots not dropping and that stretch where they didn't get a shot-off in like 4-5 possessions in-a-row ... man, that was agonizing.

Well, not really a shocker --in this particular game we traded Chris Webber, Brad Miller and Cutino Mobley for Darius Songaila, Brian Skinner and Mo Evans. You'd BETTER have defense in that situation because you've just lost a ridiculous amount of offense, in particular when Peja gets locked down.

They were up 16 points and not scoring anything (except the 11 points).
Where was the defense ... and all of a sudden ZERO offense .... for 10 minutes-plus.

It's like the mentallity changed from playing to win to playing to not lose.

Just the last quarter ....

King's Basketball = Never a Boring Game

actually, the 4th was the most boring quarter of the game. a combined 28 pts were scored between the the teams. the kings had 11 for the quarter, 10 of them from bibby. the most exciting part of the game transpired w/ 1.4 seconds left. talk about having to stick w/ this team til the horn sounds. ;)

What you find BORING can easily by NERVE-RACKING to others ???
