Agreed.

I was interviewed by a guy from SLAM magazine / KFBK? because of the sign I had while sitting in the stands. That was one of his questions - how was the crowd? I told him it could be louder (this was in the 3rd Q), but nice to have the sellout. Glad they picked it up some in the 4th.

Great game to be at, especially with the Here We Stay movement and also the last game at "ARCO Arena" - and really nice to pull out the come from behind win!

Yeah, I was disappointed from quarters 1 to most of 3. THen when Marcus had that steal with a minute left in the quarter, that was when I knew Arco might have had one last roar left in it.

That's a nice sign, but my personal favorite has to be the Donte, Reke and Cuz as Cowboys one.

I saw a few really nice signs tonight. I am not really the creative type when it comes to this. Had to steal Mad D's design just to have something to print! ;) That, and I was really just hoping to hammer home the point.

Had two security folks look at the sign going in. Apparently they were on the lookout for inappropriate signs.

The solution to DMC's turnovers isn't benching him, it's stop putting him at the high post and trying to be C-Webb 2.0. Get his *** on the low block.

Didn't get to see that one, my favorite was the sign that read "Here We Stay" but stylized as the Tower Bridge. The Here We Stay group should contact that guy and ask if they could use that as their logo.

Speaking of signs, Sign Lady took up about an entire section with just about every sign she ever made before the game.

Anyone see the interview with Joe Maloof on the news from tonights game? Didn't look very promising...and as far as KJ and Maloofs being all buddy buddy...what did you expect them to do, give mean mugs at each other? I pretty sure what's going to be will be, and both the Maloofs and KJ already know how this chapter will end, but want to put on a happy front for the cameras. As Don Merideth used to sing...I think it's almost time to turn out the lights...

Yeah. I don't know what's wrong with him. His play has just went down. He doesn't look motivated at all. Maybe he's just tired and burned out like Casspi was last season about this time. I don't know. How about Thornton? What a breath of fresh air- this guy. Fun game tonight. Arco packed was extra special. Go Kings!

i agree with every word you say.
he crushed into the wall, but he is a rookie that's o.k.

Dont know how many have played basketball, but one thing they all have to learn is how to workout and play. If you over do a workout or take too much time off it can throw your shot off. This is why routine is important to them. Cuz just looked off with his shot. He didnt really have a flow. But his passing was key early in the game. It really opened up the offense and forced the clips to not overplay the passing lanes.

I've played and coached. It's insane to go from a 30 game season to an 82 game season. Especially if you come from 1 (ONE!) year of college hoops, where you most likely sat the last 12 minutes of the game because your team had abused Little Sisters of the Poor. It's not the same. Then you move to a lower-tier NBA team where the expectation is that you play a large number of minutes because the team can't afford to bring you along slowlly. It's not like this is some new phenomenon - it's called the rookie wall for a reason.

Westphal did a good job at the end there. Thompson was playing horrid D against Griffin. Giving him little pitter pat fouls and letting him go up for the And 1. (Jason, if you're listening, be a man and when you foul someone...FOUL them so they can't even get close to making their shot).

Westphal pulled Thompson and put in a struggling Demarcus because he knew Cousins could D up on Kaman or Jordan while Dalembert could take care of Griffin. It worked with Kaman turning the ball over and Jordan missing his FT's. Even though Cousins was having a terrible game, he stepped up on the one end of the court where he's not so great and helped us pull out a victory.

Griffin had problems when they played real close to him when he faced up he just stood there like a dead weight... he isn't perfect.

back to the basket though he is a real tough match up.

So I didnt see anyones response to your post. If you saw an interview on the news what did Joe say or not say that didnt look promising? Dont leave us all wanting what was said? Which news station? is there a clip on the news station web site?

What is the record without Tyreke? He has missed last 7 games and Kings are 2-5 on that span so this is something like 28% and even Cousins wasn`t much help after all star!

How loud was the crowd on TV? We were in SRO so it was hard to get a good sense

LOUD. It reminded me of the old days. The comments of the coach and the players were priceless. They were taken aback by it. Westphal said he had to stand back and absorb what was happening and enjoy it. That's a huge paraphrase but sometime Paul needs help. I swear he looked like he had been crying. My wife noticed that.

He was told not to speak and he didn't speak. Let's not build a multi page thread of speculation and hysteria over a guy doing what he is supposed to do.

Just describing the scene and posting the link; don't mean to imply anything. Feel free to delete the post.

Great game to be at, well done to everyone that was there. Watching DeAndre Jordan miss 4 straight freethrows while the place went absolutely nuts is something I'll never forget.

Yep. That and Omri's slam dunk were a couple of the evening's highlights.

Kaman was in Cousins head. I just got HD and you can hear the things being said on the court. One time when they were at the free throw line Kaman turned to the ref and said 'Hey...hey will you tell Kumar (Cousins) to be quiet?'.
