Am I the only one who doesn't want to see any of them go? Purely selfish of me, I don't want any twisted ankles etc. and would just as soon they rested up on that week-end. Eh, I'll vote anywayAndriod_KiNg said:Thanks for the notice ,Anyway guys vote when ever and where ever you guys can, i wanna see our boys starting the All-Star game !
I don't think so.Kingsgurl said:Am I the only one who doesn't want to see any of them go?

I think that's a very good 7-9 game assessment. My votes would be exactly the same, except I'd give KG or Andrei Kirilenko the nod over Amare. And in the East you have to go with Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He's been on fire.LPKingsFan said:LPKingsFan's complimentary 7-9 game all star team:
West:
C: Yao Ming
F: Amare Staudemire
F: Dirk Nowitzki
G: Ray Allen
G: Kobe Bryant
East:
C: Ben Wallace
F: Ron Artest
F: Grant Hill
G: LeBron James (who should be listed as a forward on the ballot, but isn't)
G: Paul Pierce
Ahhhhh! Why bother? Just give the trophy to Brad.keflanag said:As a side note, what I want to see this year is the 3-PT contest among centers.
I don't know ... I think the Big Z could give him some good competition. Who knows, maybe Vlade will be a sleeper in the competition.6th said:Ahhhhh! Why bother? Just give the trophy to Brad.![]()
He should have a pretty good shot, albeit as a backup. Figure the fans (in other words the media who pretty much 100% control the fan/sheep voting) will vote Kobe and McGrady in regardless of stats. Then the coaches will probably take 2 pure PGs and use any extra guard spots on people like Allen or Ginobilli (has anybody noticed how he's blossoming?). I'm betting Cassel is going to age and fall off considerably this year, so he's out. On the other hand Nash will get the lion's share of the credit in Phoenix and has a good shot. Then it wil come down to guys like Parker (overrated) and Bibby. There really aren't that many top flight PGs amongst the good teams in the West. Utah doesn't ahve one, Dallas doesn't have one. SA only has Parker. Memphis only has JWill, and only play him 30mpg. The Lakers don't have one. Denver's slow start is probably hamstringing Miller. As noted, I'm betting Cassel is going to fade a bit. Etc. You look around, outside of the Nash franchise resurrection, there's really nobody to steal Bibby's thunder.mazzystar said:Hopefully Mike makes it this year.

That's the problem. Brad acutally looked like he was putting some effort out there. What was he thinking?Bricklayer said:Practice is probably more hazardous than playing in an All-Star game with a bunch of guys not trying very hard.
Yeah, I remember you saying that right before the All-Star game.Bricklayer said:P.S. I've always enjoyed the NBA All-Star game. The NFL should (maybe did? ) jut cancel theirs as irrelevant. NBA has a little party mid-season. Nice little celebration of the game, and breaks up the season. Found the Brad injury ironic given the concerns occasionally expressed here, but it almsot never happens. Practice is proabbl more hazardous than playing in an All-Star game with a bunch of guys not trying very hard.
The Kings flirt with fate everytime they wake up in the morning. We just had a guy break his hand tripping over a stool in the dark. There is nowhere that's safe from the curse of the Kings.VF21 said:I refuse to condone flirting with fate that way...
