go vote for your allstars on NBA.COM

Am I the only one who doesn't want to see any of them go? Purely selfish of me, I don't want any twisted ankles etc. and would just as soon they rested up on that week-end. Eh, I'll vote anyway:D I just won't be all that broke up if they don't go.
Like what happened to Brad a year ago! Whether you like it or not, looking at the list I'd say Brad will back up Yao in the game.

Not necessarily. Brad didn't want to go last year. He went and was injured. He might just pass up going this year - hang-nail, cold, temporary leprosy, something...

;)

this is got to be the earliest they've ever began the all star balloting...what are we like 3 weeks into the season....ridiculous

they shouldn't start the voting until like 3 weeks before the actual date....give the fans a week to vote...give the coaches time to pick the reserves...and then a week later...the actual game

ive never been the type to get overly upset over the obvious fact that the all star game is a popularity test...cuz honestly i really don't care...i mean i know that i voted in the guys who i believe deserve to start and the guys who i want to see...but what really bugs me is the players that get a majority of the votes without playing a single game or even a half of the half season...thats like the stupidest thing ever...and a total slap in the face to the guys who really deserve to start or be on the team period

as for the whole not voting any of our kings into the all star game cuz they need to weekend to rest and relax...nah i don't buy it....not that i don't think they deserve the opportunity...but...truth of the matter is all star weekend IS kind of like a break...its not for real its fake....besides everyone enjoys themselves while they are there plus you know everyone wants to be voted into the game...its the ultimate sports compliment...i mean even the guys who aren't voted in are usually in town livin it up anyway

as for me...im not voting until its MUCH MUCH closer to the actual event...i usually vote last minute

You only vote once???????

My lord, it's fans like you that are ruining it for the rest of us.

;)

Well, the title of the ballot says "Choose your favorite NBA players." It shouldn't say that, it should be choose the best NBA players, those who have worked hard and deserve a spot in the game should get chosen, not those who are the most popular. Horse maneur.

My Picks:

Forwards (West)
Kevin Garnett
Amare Stoudamire

Forwards (East)
Grant Hill
Jermaine O'Neal

Guards (West)
Ray Allen
Steve Nash

Guards (East)
Dwayne Wade
Lebron James

Center (West)
Brad Miller

Center (East)
Z. Ilgauskas

Just a note: If you're new to this and you want to vote for any Kings players, DON'T vote for anyone else from the West in the same category.

i voted

bibby
manu
AK 47
duncan
miller

but the starting 5 will be something like nash, kobe, garnett, duncan and ming with at least AK 47 and dirk coming off the bench. i think that miller, bibby and peja have a shot at being back ups ( not all 3, but a combination of 2 of them i think)

east oh dear just who did i vote for....

i voted for rip hamilton and ben wallace, but i forget who else.

i predict lebron james will be the leading vote getter.

kobe, t-mac, kg, duncan and yao will be starters in the east, that is unless vince gets traded to portland. in which case kg or duncan might not make it because vince will still get the most votes, especially if he will be playing with t-mac and kobe.... if he were still good, that would be pretty sweet to watch, hoping that one of them (kobe mostly) gets injured.

I would have voted AK- 47 but I thought that Grant Hill is playing unbelievably considering his 3 year absence due to injury. Kg is also playing out of his mind right now.

Interesting note about Kirilenko: as was predicted by some (including this author) Andrei's numbers have fallen off this year with the competition from his teammates -- right now he is averaging 15.1pts 6.4rebs 2.4ast .

The defense is obviously outstanding, but if Utah tails off at all, and as his blk shot numbers inevitably sink down to a more reasonable number, I don't think he is in any way a shoo-in this year. 15pts 6rebs are not All-Star numbers in the West, even for a defensive stalwart. And with Boozer putting up the big numbers he may well have a teammate make it this year, thus lessening the coaches desire to put him on just to recognize Utah's success.

In the west, I voted only for the Kings and AK47 (but I might vote for Dirk next time :D) and will be voting everyday if I can. :) But then again, I'm worried, too, if any of them are gonna make the team - hopefully no more All-Star bad luck this year!!! Please!

My West All-Stars:

C - Amare Stoudamire (he should be qualified for center)
PF - Tim Duncan
SF - Kevin Garnett
SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - T-Mac (i want to see an alley-hoop to himself at the backboard again!)

Bench:
PG - Steve Nash
SG - Manu Ginobili (if he can maintain his numbers)
SF - Andrei Kirilenko
PF - Dirk Nowitzki
C - Yao Ming (the 1 billion of china will vote hor him)
PG - Baron Davis (if he's healthy!)
SG - Ray Allen
wow! its more like an international lineup.

Steve Nash over Bibby?? lol the dude had a tripple double the other day the bad way, he had 10 turnovers. He is way to out of control and Bibby shoots better in every catagory.

But Nash is averaging 11 apg.

Mike and Nash should be in the all-star but still you can only select one of them. I pick Nash over Bibby as of their 7-9 games. If Baron Davis can't play, i think Bibby is a deserving replacement.

i think the west is pretty much set (atleast the starters are)

guards will be kobe and tmac
forwards will be KG and duncan
and center will be yao (china votes will count.. so there's no question about this one)

having said that, i will still support the kings players.. :)
so i voted bibby, bobby, peja, webb, and brad
