It’s been a week and a half and my X account is still suspended - absolutely no idea why; There’s been no communication from X, despite numerous attempts on my end. I’ve submitted a number of appeals that might as well be written on scratch paper shoved in glass bottles and thrown into the ocean for all the good they do.

Even reached out to Capcom who actually responded, which is more than I can say for X. Nice enough to tell me they won’t accept my submission unless it is on X with an active account, per the rules. I appreciated the courtesy of the correspondence though.

Anyone have a suggestion? My first experience with the corpse of Twitter has gone pretty much as advertised, I suppose.

Diablo 4 has been sitting untouched for a while (lots of good books, etc., and work taking up my extra time), but they added new content and a Paladin class as an expansion pack. So, one online purchase later and I played quite a bit yesterday. Probably will play more over the weekend as well with the new content and Paladin class character. The new territory expansion and one more character class is coming soon - the playable content right now is more of a "taste" of things to come (probably something of a "beta test" as well?).

I will say that I'm generally loving the Paladin class in Diablo 4. I built myself a version of an Auradin Paladin with the Holy Light Aura, Dawnfire, Judgment of Auriel, the Disciple Oath, the socket rune that grants summoned wolves, and improvements to equipment and skill selection. I boosted the Arbiter of Justice duration and cut down the cooldown reduction to the point where I can literally keep casting one ultimate skill after another and never not be in Arbiter form. I'm literally walking through crowds on Torment III level and everything dies. There are some of the boss characters I have trouble with but I frankly haven't checked on their attack methods and ways to beat them. But for general gameplay this thing is unstoppable for 95% of the game. I still need to fine tune some things, I am sure (my build apparently isn't the same as some others that use some different skills or damage multipliers), but just playing around for a week I'm already at a higher difficulty level than I've played before and it is generally no contest.

Top 20 finalists for the Mega Man Design Contest have been announced and unfortunately, Snow Woman didn’t make the cut.

But I feel accomplish just having developed and submitted an entry.

Disc drive just can’t read discs anymore… second time it’s happened, the first time warrentee got it but it’s been 5ish years.

And now it’s bricked. I tried to get it repaired, but they screwed up and switched the daughter board with the disc drive (can’t do that on an original one) and now it won’t exit safe mode.

Oh well. I found a PSPro + Disc Drive on marketplace for about 300 cheaper than retail. So I treated myself.

RE9 is great. I love the balance between the traditional survivor horror of Grace and the crazy action movie nonsense of Leon.

Combines the best of both worlds instead of leaning directly into one as they tend to do.

The 6 finalists to become the next Robot Master in Mega Man Dual Override (MM12 if you’re nasty) have been announced and I love all 6 options.

My favorite, Valve Man, made it to the final round. I think Sweeper Woman will ultimately win because she fits the vacuum stage theme Capcom envisioned and the fans are clamoring for another Female Robot Master to join Splash Woman from MM9.

Capcom also announced they had over 10,000 entries, a good portion of which were from professional industry artists. Cactus Man’s creator, Simon S. Anderson, personally developed the hit indy game Owl Boy.

Adorable I ever had the inkling of a hope that my dear little Snow Woman even stood a snowball’s chance.

We also got the silhouettes of the other 7 Robot Masters, which doesn’t give us much to go on other than to emphasize only one from the contest is winning.

I started playing Diablo IV about a week or so ago. Pretty fun. I should probably bump up the difficulty as I'm at 45 an only died once... trying to solve a stupid puzzle. lol. But really I'd just like to complete the story and move on.
