[Game] Game thread: Kings@Jazz, 1/28

Good to see Chuck back out there. Hopefully he provides some stability for us.

Great to see Jimmer and Tyreke play well together as well

Jimmer is getting his confidence back. He is really starting to show us something in the last games. Great!

Tyreke with a very good half. Getting his own and setting guys up, also perfect from the line. We need this from him every night.

after being hesitant in the beginning, now that JT is out boogie is starting to fight down there, very nice to see. Jimmer is also coming around and Tyreke has been playing brilliantly. also, the Lakers are trailing the Bucks by 10, NBA basketball world (need to make that distinction, since bbl has been a disaster today) is looking dandy.

I really hope we don't see John Salmons in the 2nd half. He looked so disinterested out there. Give me Donte, give me Cisco, give me Honeycutt over Salmons.

Although I still want somweone taller, Hawes is pretty quick and strong. Maybe we can have an entire team of Kentucky grads.

To the extent that he was ever any good, Salmons got old, and fell off. Unfortunately for us, he still thinks he's the same player he was four years ago.

So it seems and what scares me given the number of minutes he gets, there must be absolutely no one that Smart trusts sitting on the bench. Wow.

You never learn. Didn't you learn your lesson with Hawes? Careers aren't over at 21.

Oh my god... can you even be serious... Hawes?? everyone else on this board was on my side by the time we shipped his lazy soft *** outa town... he's not the first player to "pull out a career year" during a "contract year" ... just wait... larry hughes? anyone? get that contract and go right back to sucking.... Hawes is trash... and your out of your mind for loving that guy

It's probably not a coincidence that we stopped sucking the second we got Hickson and Salmons off the floor.

*you're

speaking of players playing well in a contract year, I wonder what would've happened if Bonzi Wells had signed a mulit-year deal with the kings

on a side note.... Jimmer really has been looking better... running the offense tho him will never work... he's a SG

Where'd I say I love him?

I was commenting on your comment that a career would be over. Young guys turn it around all the time. You act as if Spencer is the first. As for it's only for a year, you have to wait and see. You could be just as wrong about that as you were about him ever improving, or Hassan ever improving. You really make yourself look ridiculous speaking in these absolutes all the time.

Reke is on pace right now for 32pts 8rebs and 12 ast. And we are losing.

Between Salmons, the bench, and the coach who won't play Donte no matter hos stinky the dead and rotting fish gets..we're just shooting ourselves in the foot.

Orrrr we may have given up on him too early. He's only 23 this year. Kevin McHale was 23 years old his rookie season.

seriously.... this is common place in the NBA for those like rainmaker that don't follow... contract years are so flawed... especially if it was a huge jump in production and conditioning
