[Game] Game 76: Kings v. Jazz, 4/5/15 - 6pdt, 9edt

He is an outstanding defender. He is very raw on the offensive end but has shown flashes of being able to take his man off the dribble.
Unlike, quite possibly, the average Kings Fan, I've seen the Jazz play more than just the three games they've played the Kings this year. I think that "outstanding" might be overselling it, just a little bit. And, if it weren't for the fact that Burke and Burks are both injured, he probably wouldn't be getting the minutes he is now.

It strikes me as profoundly annoying that our alley oop defense is much better than our three-point defense.

He might not be getting the same minutes but I still think he would be starting. He took the starting job from Burke before he got hurt. Anyway, he is the starting point guard on a team that has been one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the league defensively since he took over. He can defend and that is in part, why he is playing.

Probably because our alley-oop offense is better than our three-point offense, and hence nobody actually has to practice defending three-pointers during practices.

When Cousins and Thompson were on the game together, the defense looked good. The offense was hit and miss, though.
