[Game] Game 75: Kings v. Pelicans, 4/3/15 - 7pdt, 10edt

Agreed.

I still think with the right coaching and development, someone who saw his incredible advantages at the PG position, he could have been one of the best PGs and overall players in the NBA. It's hard to recall an NBA players who's development has been so scuttled.
Doc Rivers has a pretty good track record coaching point guards. Hell, he even made Darrell Armstrong look like an NBA player. Or hell, Jason Kidd; if there's a coach in league who could maximize Evans' effectiveness at point guard, it's probably him.

I don't think there's anyone in the league who plays with more effort than Casspi. The guy brings it at all times, which is a rare thing to see

THAT patience in the psot is a beautiful thing to watch. That's what set the HoF post guys apart from just the good ones. They were able to wait for the right time to go up with their move, even in the wake of big-time shot-blockers.

You know, one thing where Cousins DOES get the benefit of the call is on drawing charges. Half the time he's not even set when the guy leaves his feet but gets the call anyway.

Cousins still jawing on a every call. Even the obvious ones

I'll kind of disagree. He's not jawing on every call. He does complain too much about certain calls, however... and it nearly drives me nuts because it's almost invariably followed by a reach-in foul. He did try the reach-in this time, didn't get called for a foul and was able to take the charge instead.

I see a certain relationship developing between Omri and Boogie. I think it started the night Omri fixed DMC's headband. ;) Love to see DeMarcus showing faith in the feisty Casspi.

It's a good thing that "Sauce Castillo" fell into Stauskas' lap. At least, that way, he doesn't have to share the nickname of "Tito Jackson," with the rest of the Kings.

Gotta appreciate the fact that Casspi is always moving. He's like a box of chocolates out there, but he doesn't take any plays off.

Good to hear Vivek speaking so glowingly of George Karl. Chatting with Grant and Jerry, Vivek sounds more like the guy I liked so much the first time I heard him. He speaks well of Vlade, too. I think the removal of the curse of Mullin has set Vivek free. :)

We're out-shooting NO 48.5% to 46.5% and have 6 turnovers to their 7.

Where we're losing is on defense. NO is 8-14 from 3 and is killing us on the glass 27 to 13.

Guys need to get their heads into the game and man-up, close down the 3pt line and stop rebounding like this is the YMCA.
