Definitely a lot to learn after this game. I hope Malone takes the proper steps and rematches this game with the whole team. They can learn a lot from this game. Great learning experience.

He's playing too much individual ball and not enough team ball. His ball handling skills are obsolete when he's put under pressure.

Carl mostly did fine. The problem was the zone defense. Can't make entry passes, can't get inside. You need shooting and penetration. Casspi was the only guy even trying to put the ball on the floor in the second unit.

Should have smoked OKC from the tip which JT lost to Adams - downhill from there mainly due to confusion on proper way to attack simple zone D.

Usually we're the bad 1-5 team that has a spark of pride and beats the 5-1 team behind a good crowd. Feels weird to have the situation switched.
No one to really call out for this loss, honestly. Make a few more 3's and you win, even when it's 8 on 5 most of the game.

There is absolutely NOTHING to learn from this game.
The Kings quite clearly did not want to win this game.
Anyone can see how they treated the 4th quarter, leaving their backups in an incredible amount of time, letting the clock tick down, only putting in their starters when it became obvious they were throwing the game if they didn't.
When the starters finally came back in, I looked at their faces and body language, and they were not looking forward to having to go in and lose the game. It was clear to anyone who watched this game that the Kings did not want to win.
Fouls and free throws were even until the final minute. Refereeing feels worse than it probably was.

It was even, but I think the gripe lies in those fouls that weren't called for us. Particularly in the first half.

Possibly. I give a lot of credit to Cousins for not losing his composure, in the face of some tough calls.
