Cousins looks enormous in that picture

You mean Boston or Kings?

Kings PG tonight: RayMac / Miller / Stauskus / Stockton

Boston PG tonight: Smart / Bradley / Pressey

Since when is Stauskas a point guard? There was some talk about him being able to run the point coming out of Michigan, and it may still be too early to claim this, but Nik doesn't have the tools to be a point guard. At least not yet.

Why not?

Boston is depleted, we probably won't have Miller either.

Collison most likely out.

D league fella just off the bus.

See what Nik can do, not like we are going to make the playoffs or anything.

Nik played the point for stretches of both practices under Karl. Reason: Coach wanted to see if that would help his confidence, get him to different places of the floor for Nik to shoot and run some offense. Plus, no doubt coach was worried he might have only couple PGs suited up for tonight's game - now there's 4 or 3 1/2 if you like.

Gotcha, I would love to see Nik's ballhandling develop and that should come along hand-in-hand with his confidence. Whether his hand was forced or not, sounds like coach is making it an emphasis to develop our young rookie. I like it.

No way Andre got cleared to play that fast.

Well possible, would be very jet lagged though.

MCW, Plumdog and Ennis are suiting up for the Bucks, guess thatʻs a good sign.

Glad Carls getting the start, might help spacing quite a bit.

JT would only fit as a "Karl guy" as a backup C like Kosta Koufos. I can see a lineup of Miller, Stauskas, Casspi, Gay, JT as the second unit.

He's not. He's a SG with +ball-handling ability (or at least in theory)

And I very much would like to see Nik get some time with the ball in his hands. He's so afraid of making mistakes right now and isn't able to get in any sort of rhythm when he gets on the floor. Giving him some time to dribble and maybe set some guys up might exactly be what he needs to get going. That's how he played himself into being a top 10 pick last year.

Backup C has always been the best bet for JT regardless of Karl. Maybe Karl is going to get him prepared for that role so when a legit PF is brought in he's already there

Coaches job is to make him less afraid.

Not a "snarky" question at all, but why is Dre your favorite player?
Cause he's by NBA a fairly un-athletic guy who has thrived in the NBA using craftiness and intelligence. As someone who also plays basketball and is not a speed demon or high flyer I appreciate that and I also love rooting for underdogs and I consider Dre one.

There's very few guys that play like Andre Miller and I have not seen anyone with a similar game since he arrived.

Excited to see Andre Miller...one of the all-time under the radar great PG's.....I said it...great PG. now the question is does he have anything left in the tank. If he has anything left in the tank like fellow veteran Reggie Evans, then we could use him.

devils advocate:

watch us get smacked the first half after all the buildup about george karl

angels advocate (?):

getting smacked will happen even when george karl is here. stay poised because we know the kings can do better than getting smacked
