(not pictured: Immediately after taking the selfie, D-Will decided to take an ill-advised shot over the wall and drop the camera several hundred feet to the ground below. He might have also stolen a kid's candy.)

Finally, a game I can watch as basketball is intended. In the evening and fully inebriated. That of course means that the game will be one at an ungodly early time in the morning for the majority of the people who post on this site. But that's just the way the fortune cookie crumbles today.

Usually the shoe is on the other foot, with the games happening in the evening in the states and anytime ranging from "It's soooo early" to "I'm hungry. When's lunch." But finally, yes finally, the tides have turned and you all will know how it feels to walk a day in my shoes (just make sure you let them air out first, I've been walking through typhoon water for the past week). So while you all are sleeping in your nice warm beds, I'll be stuck in an office in northeastern Japan, dealing with overzealous administrative staff and trying to hide the fact I'm watching an NBA preseason game on my office desktop. Sweet dreams suckers.

Now, I know this post is lacking in basketball-related content but (1) it's the middle of the preseason, (2) the game's taking place in China, and (3) we just played Derrick Williams for 24 minutes and have nothing to show for it. Also we're playing the same zombie Nets as we played last time (no word on whether or not Lionel Hollins survived Paul Westphal's assassination attempt -err, food poisoning and will be gracing the sidelines tonight/today/whenever). Don't expect Kevin Garnett, Joe Johnson, or Deron Williams to get too much playing time tonight for fear of someone fouling them too hard, causing them to vanish in a puff of dust. Instead, expect to see a lot of Team USA superstar, Miles -err, Marshall -er, Mason Plumlee and, additionally, Jarret Jack and a couple of Russian dudes who may or may not be twenty years older than their listed age (Andre Kirilenko has not aged well) and Jerome Jordan, a guy who I may have mistakenly referred to as Jerome James several dozen times over the past several days.

Meanwhile, the Kings are the Kings and I'm certain we all have our own opinions of the team ranging somewhere from "WE SUCK" to "We're pretty much going to win the next five NBA finals". So for this night, and this night only, I'll leave all the Kings roster discussion and fervent trade chatter to the rest of you armchair GMs out there and leave you all with this video package of Derrick Williams from the last game:

Good night, sleep tight, and GO KINGS

D-Will's hair makes him look like a clown. What is he thinking? o_O

On another note, I'd like to see Deonte Burton get some run. Odds are slim to none on it happening

I will try too, but they do re-show it at 11:30 am on NBATV, and I weirdly have a day off tomorrow. The Evil Within came out today too, i might play it tonight instead of going to bed early.

Cat showed more energy and hustle in 37 seconds than D-Will did in 24 minutes.

Wow Lopez is trashing us in the paint, I wonder if we can maintain our winless streak without Cousins going back to last year.

So strange for us in Europe to watch a game at 1.30 PM... Cousins getting some well deserved rest, and Lopez is killing us inside. As expected....

Our back up SF's are just doing wonderful this game................

NBA.com has finally fixed their ALP problem: Napear is much more tolerable in smaller doses, working as Gary Gerrould's color man.

The production from the back up SF position.......almost makes you wish we had Outlaw back. Collison on the other hand has been a monster playing like a beast.
