Our offense was actually an offense under Malone. Now we just run around, clueless as to what the objective is

We tried to playy thorugh DMC. He got beat.
Other than that, it's Rudy dribbling around or score on the break.
Looks very similar to Malone's offense.
Just look at the Celtics - playing pick&roll, backcutting, pick&pop - getting tons of open looks. We are lucky they are not a good team overall and don't knock down shots. But you can see, that they are well coached.

I am almost embarrassed to admit that I spent a lot of time reading the PDA questions and Grant threads so I wouldn't have to read the dismay and disappointment (not to mention disgust) going on here. What depresses me the most is that I'm finding it more and more difficult to find reasons to actually watch our games. If it were not for Demarcus Cousins, I doubt if I'd be sitting here at 11 a.m. watching a basketball game.

This is a trainwreck unlike anything I can ever remember seeing. I can only assume Vivek isn't even watching the game. If he were, the body language of the players alone should have him on the phone right now, getting a coach on a plane to Minnesota.

This hurts to watch. We deserve better. The Kings deserve better.

If you recall, Corbin has just recently had surgery on one of his legs (I forget if it was ACL or Achilles) and only just got off crutches.

Yes we posted Rudy a bit more. I ll give you that. Still Malone's offense was stagnant and uncreative, based on 1vs1 plays most of the time. You can only survive with an offense like this if you play stellar defense and still i doubt it would take you far into the playoffs.

I dont have any stats to back this, but seems like the shots that Ben has a hard time with are the wide open looks. Maybe too much time to think?

The shots where he catches it and has to quickly fire it off seem to be his best.

I don't know about you but I can remember more than once when someone was so mad at me they didn't yell or scream or anything. They just said nothing. Sometimes being silent is much worse than yelling and screaming.

Yeah, that horrible stagnant offense had us 9-6. That was terrible stuff.

I keep seeing glimmers of something resembling team play but then it goes away, almost like a mirage. You see good crisp passing followed by a bad shot or missed shot. It's beyond puzzling to me. As Jerry said (and I can't believe I'm quoting Jerry), "Nobody misses a bucket on purpose." And he's right. It seems like even on a good shot, the ball ricochets and finds a way not to fall.
