Sacramento Kings versus Detroit Pistons

Last time it was because I was out in Tokyo. This time, it's because my higher-ups have seen fit to dumped wheelbarrows load of work on my table before the New Year break.

So no write-up today. Daddy's gotta earn that paycheck.

Not that you don't know what I'd probably say.

yay...um...go guys...you have truly filled the fanbase with enthusiaszzz....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It has been a tough couple of losses. Kobe being Kobe and James Harden hitting that three from Fresno surely can dampen the enthusiasm.

The Kings just have to keep moving forward, lace them up tight and.....

BEAT THE PISTONS!!!!!!

be really nice if they wouuld just beat SOMEBODY, Don't care who. :)

Well...given tonight's opponent is the Pistons I guess I do care who, but who we are playing is irrelevant. When you collapse every single time its not because every single team in the league is making perfectly timed big half and game ending runs at you. Its on you.

The Kings through too many mistakes help beat themselves. Doesn't seem like the
Kings are fussy about who they lose to or win against - if you can remember our wins. So it's not so important tonight who we are playing and what special things we need to do to beat them, we need to focus better on not beating ourselves. Like in the Music Man, THINK: errorless ball, errorless ball, errorless ball! GOT IT??? Go
Kings!!

Detroit comes in after ending 13 game losing streak last night in Phoenix 105-103 over Suns. Now in back-to-back against rested Kings should be no problem right - for Kings W - right?!?

SAC-RA-MEN-TO!!

JT containing Monroe will go a long way to us winning this game if he does not, than it's all sort of problems for us. Unlike the Suns I don't think we struggle against size since we normally have both Cuz and JT they don't have a single guy like that on the roster (Plumlee is soft).

The All-Time great, legendary and mighty will be in town tonight... savior of the kings??

We're going to have all sorts of rebounding problems with the Pistons huge lineup, Sessions will not be able to guard Jennings. Look for Rudy Gay to go off against sub par forwards.

For some reason i always get nervous playing this Pistons squad. We always seem to bring out the best in opposing player....

Pistons top performers for tonight will be:

Josh Smith
21 points 8 rebounds 3 assists 2 steals 2 blocks

Andre Drummond
18 points 16 rebounds 1 assists 3 blocks

Brandon Jennings
15 points 3 rebounds 9 assists 2 steals 1 block

Kyle Singler
11 points 3 rebounds 1 assist

Kings top performers
Rudy Gay
25 points 8 rebounds 4 assists 1 steal 1 block

Ben Mclemore
16 points 4 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals 1 block

Darren Collison
20 points 6 rebounds 11 assists

Nik Stauskas
9 points 1 rebound 1 assists

Kings win 97-89

hopefully i got one of those right for tonight! xD

I think you hit right on the head. The other stat is turnovers and we will have 8 and they will have 17. Good win.

The one and only thing the Pistons can do well is rebound so that is the key here...if they get multiple second chance points well then it's going to be a long and unwatchable game....let Josh Smith shoot jumpers all day if he so chooses, don't let Brandon Jennings penetrate on you, Collison is more than capable of holding his own here. Need Rudy to score more.

Will be interesting if they put Smith on Rudy and play long stretches with Smith, Drummond and Monroe. Since our big guys are don't score much anyway, Monroe's Bad defense won't hurt them like it usually does.

If he hits his first 2 or starts something like 3-6 it will be a great thing for us. It will mean he will start chucking and finish 8-20.

Against the Knicks and Melo (who is similar in size to Rudy) they basically played Smith on him the entire time.

Smith will go off. PDA will quickly acquire him. All hell breaks loose.
Dogs and Cats living together; mass hysteria.

Breaking out the rakia for this one. We're 2-0 when I bring out the good stuff and since we're in need of a win and it's a bit chilly outside, I'm using that as an excuse to pretend I'm superstitious enough to believe my own dribble.

Are you Serbian by any chance? :D (Rakija, plus your sig)

Nope, but my wife is from right next door. BG. And that allows me to bring back the home-brewed, good stuff when we visit. Peach rakia. Наздраве!

If we end up 3-0 after drinking it, I might have to consider sacrificing my liver for the team.

I salute you.
