Gay is awful tonight and yet he is still getting the ball and still having an EPIC FAILURE night. What is WRONG with our coach ? He needs to see that GAY does NOT have it tonight !!! He should have been benched and ANYONE else brought in.

And the REFS have not called ONE MOVING SCREEN on the screeners for Harden. AND IT HAS BEEN A MOVING SCREEN EVERY TIME !

As I said the other day it's starting to become pretty apparent that Rudy Gay is not a winner and the type of player that helps your team find ways to lose.

Closing out the 4th quarter he had two isolation possessions where he failed to drive and kick and instead took bad off the dribble jumpers which are low percentage. People will notice the bad shot selection by Rudy and perhaps bad play calls by the coach.

What I noticed more was Rudy's terrible defense on Trevor Ariza driving to the basket. Next possession Rudy fails to stay up on Harden or even put a hand in his face with the shot clock winding down and Harden hits a clutch three when even a slight amount of defensive effort would have prevented it.

Sorry to say but Rudy Gay is not a winning player. I can live with his shot selection with DeMarcus out but his lack of defensive intensity to close games is hurting the team. Last game his defense and turnovers down the stretch also cost the team. Just another guy that scores a lot of points but doesn't do much to actually help you get over the hump.
