Please no 5 man platoon changes where no starter is in. The rotation with twin duplex + nik/sessions backcourt has not and will not work. Coach has to get this in his head. We need to have part of the starting 5 rest with part of the bench playing with the starters. Need somebody taller than 6'8" there at all times. I do think it's partly on coaching to create a viable rotation.
When players see that the lead evaporates when they're on the floor, it can't help confidence.
We need to have JT or Hollins out there at all times.
And when cuz is healthy, 2 of the big 3 at all times. And not have a nik / sessions backcourt which is like a 3 on 5 on defense and 4 on 6 actually 3 on 6 on offense.
If not him, who?You know what time it is? Ramon's time![]()
Nope they're not consistent. That's why the bench needs some starters with them because the alternative is frankly worse. Coaching is about maximizing available resources / personnel. That's all well and good but you're acting as though our starter and bench are consistent. Quite frankly, I do not think that word is currently in any of their vocabularies. And that creates major headaches for any coach, let alone one with his superstar sitting in street clothes behind the bench.
If not him, who?
If not now, when?
I get the feeling that Malone or Corbin or any coaching staff needs to step up and create a good enough offense for our players that uses the perimeter more often than the Kings do right now. There's no doubt -- Ben, Nik, Collison, Sessions, Williams, Gay, and McCallum all have 3pt ability that's worth closing out on; we have a good number of 3pt options. We just need to get them to shoot 3s more often; our offense becomes to stagnant and easy to guard if we don't. That's not solid basketball.
I want to see the Kings play solid basketball, make or miss the shot, win or lose the game. I'd like to see the Kings miss their 3 pointers.
As if on cue.I have so many possible responses. The best one just might be Ray McCallum.

I'm not saying we shouldn't be built on the inside; it seems like we are relying on the inside too much. The 3s are a cherry on top, meant to be the relief for the inside. Primary inside, secondary outside. As of now, its primary inside, secondary inside, maybe tri-ary (?) outside.I disagree. I'd rather be a team built on the inside - there's more consistency there.
