[Game] Game 17: Sacramento Kings vs. Memphis Grizzlies. 11/30/14, 3 PM PST, 6 PM EST

He has 5 fouls now. What would you do with JT given we have no bigs who are really big?

He was the only big that was playing consistent defense and you have 6 fouls to use. This team is going to no where with Malone, he has lucky Cousins has made him look better than he is.

Cousins ill. Thompson disqualified. Hollins ejected. Twin Duplexes down the stretch, to play against Memphis' Twin Towers.

WHEEEEEEEEEE!

Because come on Malone...take this inferior team without its best player and beat arguably the best team in the NBA right now....come on Malone......do better. This is pretty much what your wanting right now.

Game was winnable and he kept rewarding awful players with playing time and keeping the guys on the bench that are doing well. Completely clueless.

Wait, we were down an MVP-level player, our two best players on the floor pretty much can't stop turning the ball over, we were forced to play a Landry/Evans frontcourt because Ryan Hollins got himself ejected, AND we were playing the best team in the league right now and our first reaction is to blame the coach?!

The game is winnable if the team doesn't turn it over like they did...that's on the players.
Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Second straight game where we out-rebounded our opponent, and lost. This time, we had more points in the paint, too.

Turnovers have been a problem all season, at some point you think the coach can find and correct the problem ? Not Malone, he has no idea what he is doing.
I'm not sure that you're entirely clear on how turnovers are caused, if you think that the coach can correct it.

Gay, Collison and McLemore combined for twelve of our twenty-three turnovers. They also combined for fifty-four of our eighty-five points. So, short of taking our only offense off the court, I'd like to know what Malone could have done to stop them from turning the ball over.

Good question. Not sure what needs to be done to clean it up, it's been a pretty disgusting trend.

A good portion of it is that the Kings don't have a lot of truly great ball handlers. When teams challenge the dribble of players like Ben or Rudy they can get distrupted pretty easily. Then it goes into an area where the players make sloppy passes to save themselves when they get into trouble. They need to work on that motion offense more and instead of trying to create with the ball, create without it. Casspi is the only player that has it down.

Bingo. This team dribbles the ball WAY too much. I remember Malone making that an emphasis before the season. But i haven't seen it translate to the court.

And where were you when this team came charging back? That frontcourt was pretty much the sole reason this team got back into the game. While I get what you're saying, he can't cry foul over that combo tonight. :)

Well to be fair, at that certain point in the game, the Grizzlies had to sit Gasol because he had four fouls and Jon Leuer is not even 15% of the player Gasol is.

Can someone inside of KTHK's broadcast footprint tell me what they're talking about in the postgame? ALP feed has already cut off, but Radio.com hasn't switched their feed from the alternate broadcast they do during the games back to regular coverage.

He's NOT a savior so I don't know what the proper move by the coach would be. We are still trying to win and I would go with the vet all other things being equal. Then I would kidnap Beno.

The proper move is absolutely without question, to play the better defensive player and the guy who won't hurt the team with continuous turnovers
