You're right:

Atlanta is now at a projected $26M in room. The Knicks are now the leader in the clubhouse with $35M.

With Danilio, why would they want Bogi though?
Probably the same reason the Kings wanted Haliburton, can't have enough playmakers! Honestly though, that would be a pretty interesting trio with Trae, Bogdan and Gallo. I can get them wanting Bogdan more than Gallo though. They just drafted a PF, they have John Collins. They have Hunter. They have Reddish. They are burying a lottery pick somewhere in this equation.

I’d love to know why Monte likes Whiteside. He is a starting quality center and I am sure he would help us but he doesn't move the needle enough to justify the signing.

Going forward I see our core being FOX second star Haliburton. I am open to Bagley being part of the core but I still see him as an empty stats guy you get pressured into extending because he is young and already on your team. A Zach LaVine type. Now, I could be way off on that assessment. Lets get that second star in the next two drafts. We need to be in the top ten closer to top five to have the best chance at that. If it was up to me, I would start Fox, Buddy, Barnes, Belly and Bagley. I would then trade Buddy and Belly at the All star break and finish out the season taking a good look at Ramsey and the rest of the young guys. In the offseason, I determine if Bagley has transformed enough to invest long term. If not, I look to trade him for additional draft capital. We can turn this around!

Wondering if ATL would consider moving John Collins. Where does Gallinari and Collins both fit? Both PFs, They got Hunter and Reddish at SF.......I feel like there could be a sign and trade there still
It would be interesting. I mean, the rumors have swirled about them being iffy on signing him back to a max deal.

I thought you could only have one playmaker? #lol

they also have Huerter. Lots of 2-4 players with Collins, Gallo, Hunter, Huerter, Reddish, Bogdanovic.

No way we’re interested in whiteside although his Snapchat is pure gold

Well. Kings were terrible at defending the paint and grabbing boards. I’m not a huge Whiteside fan. And I like Holmes.
But a lineup with Fox-Hield-Haliburton-Barnes and Whiteside is interesting if Whiteside accepts a garbage man role on offense. IF

if you are going to go with that you would be better keeping Bogi at the 3.

of course if you were good at poker it might also be what you float out there as a option to get better offers from other teams.

He did come from Houston. If you are going with a 3 guard line-up Buddy, Bogi and Haliburton not so bad 3 guard line up.

No you aren't because Bogi is 28 and tapped out and Haliburton is 20 with a higher ceiling.

Maybe if we were ready to compete but the only difference in that lineup is a 10th seed vs a 13th seed.

it’s more a question of Buddy or Haliburton at the 2.

I could see two scenarios.....

Option 1: get a decent piece for Bogdan in a sign and trade like Hunter.

Option 2: sign Whiteside and keep Bogi and play a 3 guard line-up with Haliburton starting off the bench.

if you suck you get a better draft pick.

Completely different games and positions. Gallo is pretty much exclusively a 4 now. He doesn’t play much SF anymore. They can still use Bogi and are still in the running from what I hear.
Although now one has to wonder about Cam Reddish’s availability in an S-and-T Bogi trade now that Gallo is going to be ahead of him on the depth chart.

Relying on Bagley to become a franchise player is a recipe for disaster.
Unfortunately, that’s the hope we all have to have. That’s the position the KINGS are in until another chance to acquire a #77 type player emerges. If it ever happens again.

That’s the price to be paid for making mistakes in the draft.

not just Cam. They have a glut:
5: Capella, Okongyu, Jones, Fernando
4: John Collins, Gallo, Skal
3: Hunter, Huerter, Reddish, Snell
2: Bogdan, Huerter, Bembry,
1: Young, Teague, Thomas

I didn’t even put Brown, Goodwin Graham.

I see several teams would like to have Bogdanovic.
We're smarter than the others, as always. Let him walk.
Unwarranted sarcasm aside, Bogdanovic is a nice role player. When focused and playing the right way. That’s why ‘several teams’ would like to have him. To play a role.

However, he’s not a marquee player. He’s not as good as he sometimes believes he is, and often plays outside himself (Remember that game in the bubble where he was 0 for double digits yet still foolishly jacking up shots in a game the KINGS really needed to win??)

Lastly, he was nowhere near the KINGS best player as you claimed. But go ahead and move goal posts by mocking the KINGS and their fans that recognize his limitations by acting as if you’ve been validated because several teams are interested in him.

Teams should be interested in him — as a complimentary role player. Even the KINGS. If he’d completely buy into that role.
