Fox has broken Finger. Will play in game 5.

I don’t have any real problem with the general theory laid out here. Could possibly be true. I just take exception with them insinuating fox may be doing this so he has some sort of “excuse” if they don’t win. That’s asinine, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt that was just somewhat clumsy wording.

Can you summarize their "conspiracy theory" beyond the ridiculousness of dreaming up that De'Aaron is building an excuse should the KINGS lose?

I have no interest in listening/watching the video but in the interest of being able to follow what you guys are talking about, I'd like to know what else I'm missing.

WRT to Fox using the fracture as an excuse, I guess that's why Dray gets suspended seemingly every tough series the Warriors play in and why Steph often briefly seems to re-injure his ankle. It goes both ways.

I kind of wish the Kings would’ve played into the drama and kept his status on the DL. Then on the day of the game, right before the tip off they could get Moak to do the Karate Kid announcement “DeAaron Fox is going to play? Ladies and Gentlemen DeAaron Fox is going to play!” as Fox runs out of the tunnel and the fans at G1C blow the roof off.

Basically, we're faking the Fox injury so he can have a "Jordan flu game" and get that narrative behind him in the media if/when Fox goes off in game 5.

More or less, they've convinced themselves they're the good guys fending off the evil newcomer Sacramento Kings and all of our dirty players and cheap tricks. Like I said, they're unhinged beyond belief at this point

@TaxMan you seriously don't see any problem with the deluded thinking The_Jamal has summarized above?

You're killin' me, Smalls. ;)

The projection is off the charts because that is exactly what they've done with Drugmound: portray him as the victim so he can "overcome" and be the good guy... to be doing that while SIMULTANEOUSLY accusing us of doing that is a mental gymnastics move that deserves an Olympic Gold.

The lack of self awareness if breathtaking. Honestly it should be deemed clinically insane.

Ha! I know you don't want to listen to it, but I'd say Jamal's characterization is a bit of an exaggeration. The clip starts right after I believe they were talking about how big of a bummer it is that Fox is injured. They then pointed out that there was descrepencies between the tone of Sham's reporting vs. Woj (Sham's being much more dire, Woj suggesting he may make attempts to play). They then pointed out that Sham often carries the water for Clutch and that Fox is a Clutch client. It was less insiuating that the Kings were potentially playing games with the injury report, and more suggesting that Clutch is potentially trying to push up De'Aaron's heroics in game 5.

As I said, I thought some of their wording was a bit clumsy, but I didn't get normal evil overtones from the discussion. If anything, the tone was that they were overall bummed that he is injured, and looking for a silver lining that it's not that bad.... but don't take my word for it, it's a short clip.

I will now return to bashing those ****ing warrior fans.

This is an avulsion fracture, the same type that Domantas Sabonis has been playing with for months. The differences are: 1) This is his shooting hand 2) The fracture is more exposed.

I am optimistic, but there is no reason Fox has to jack up a lot of shots tomorrow night. He attempted 31 on Sunday afternoon. Distribute the ball and take half that many; move the rock and push up the basket to assist ratio.

People expecting us to lose a close or "tough" game but i pray we come out like gangbusters. Hopefully something more similar to game 2 but of course each game is different. My nerves are going to be shot completely

I definitely don't want him pulling back too much and just shooting 7-8 shots though. I'm sure he'll do what feels right and makes sense for him though.

What the heck are the odds of this happening to a teams two all stars in the same season. Crazy.

I heard on the radio that Fox said the injury occurred with about 6 1/2 minutes left in the 4th when someone swiped down on his hand/ball. So it sounds like it is earlier than most folks were guessing.

Fox is teaching me a lesson. If he can gut it out through all this BS, Draymond, Warriors fans, Curry and Klay overconfidence, then maybe I as a lowly Kings fan with some serious PTSD can gut out watching this man give it his all.

I'm proud of Fox, man. Dude has heart. The heart of a champion. I hope I one day get to see it become a reality.

There's a lot to be proud of with this team. Domas easily could have complained the second he got here, but he embraced the worst franchise in the past 15 years with open arms from day 1. And damn, that dude puts it all out there every single night through getting smacked around all game long. Such an easy guy to root and cheer for. He not only fits with Fox but he WANTS Fox to be the guy and to be great. What makes them truly special is both guys have fully embrace Sac when it would been way easier and understandable to force their way out.

Or how Monk turned down LeBron and the Lakers to come play with his best friend and turn the culture around. Or how Brown instilled a fight in this team to never give up on a game, even if we aren't playing well. To me, that was one of the worst aspects of being a Kings fan during the drought where it just felt like the Kings would give up in the middle of the third quarter. Or some games just decide they weren't going to show up. Outside of a handful of games this year, we were basically competitive night in and night out with a chance to win.
