Now that I look at the current lineup, I don't really see a #1 scorer. I guess Ben is supposed to be that guy.

Lawson maybe, but not sure he is anymore, nor that the system wants him to be. Bench scoring is shaky.

I still feel uneasy with Ben's ball handling, but I liked how he slowed down and sealed his defender in that last play. Was pretty excited to see what he would do, but alas, a timeout.

Starters scored 20 in 7:34. Bench scored 11 in 4:26 I'd say bench scoring was right on par with starters

Nice end of quarter play. Lawson got himself open pretty easily. The defense held up with the 2nd unit too.

After 1 quarter of play, all I have to say is this: Ladies and gents, Joerger is our first competent coach since Adelman (minus the Malone fiasco). We look like we have a purpose out there and though we haven't played anywhere near perfectly, we look better than at any point last season.

It's all I wanted to see tonight, plus a win against the Lakers!

We do look good. Some unfamiliarity with the offense, but very professional.

Also amused by our response to the smallball trend -- let's play 2 centers and 4 postup players in the starting lineup.

Rudy Gay is such a good passer. He's thrown two of those half court passes right on the money each time.

Also, Afflalo is looking like our silver bullet.

Afflalo looks handy out there. High post Boogie, flash cut Afflalo, hit him with the pass, and he's got post position on a little guard who wants no part of it.
