It's hard to tell in this picture, but those jerseys certainly look a lot more YELLOW than gold from a distance. (Referring to the Scrimmage pic)
 
NOt unless they're scrimmaging with the Kings at this very moment. That pic was sent about 20 minutes ago from inside Arco.
 
And considering the Concorde: a)Never flew from Hawaii to California, and b)Has been totally retired from the skies, that would be a pretty neat trick.

Just got back from Fandamonium. The event was pretty lame compared to past years. THERE WAS NO SCRIMMAGE!!!! They had All Star night. A three point contest won by..... I can't even remember. Oh, Yeah Francisco Garcia!!! A skills contest won by Peja. Although Jason Hart had the best time, but Corliss playfully interfered. The slam dunk contest won by K-Mart. And Bonzi won the half court shooting contest.

Good night had by all. Not the same though without Chris and Bobby.

Bonzi Wells looks like he has lost a lot of weight.
 
ForlornKing: Season ticket holders (STH) get invited to hang out at Arco with the team, kinda. STH are provided with tickets. They sometimes show up on e-Bay but are not available to the public.

New players take tickets at the door; veterans are seen strolling the concourse and serving at some of the concession stands. I guess the closest thing to compare it to would be a pep rally. They also have a scrimmage...

EDIT: No scrimmage, I guess. Kingsgurl didn't send captions so I don't know what was going on in the pic she sent that looked like a scrimmage...

Just a way to hype the upcoming season and thank the STH for the humongous outlay of cash they've just made...

Actually looking at them in person. they are not that bad!!! They are just very different. Looks nothing like Laker jerseys. A deep Metallic Gold.
 
I do agree that they are different. I hope that they wear them at home and not on the road, and not on national TV. But they are OK

One thing that you always got from Fandemonium was a peek at how the players looked out on the floor. I was so ready to see Shareef. But they sat on the sidelines all night long. You will not see anything until Tuesday night. Dog, you saw more of the Sacramento Dance Team (yes, that is their new name now. No more Royal Court Dancers), than you saw of the basketball team.
