Family pics

that one IS kinda creepy !

Yeah I made fun of the kids with the iPhones and their hipstermatics and then I got an Android phone and the camera quality was kind of cruddy so I run filters on all my shots too.

I really liked this one I took in the corn maze with the scary movie filter.

Those are GREAT pictures, pdx and mcsluggo!

Here's one of Little Princess 2, taken yesterday - her 5th birthday - at the Bishop Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland.

Is the pink ribbon a birthday thing or did she win a prize at the pumpkin farm?

Mcsluggo--beautiful girls. Pdx- love the sepia. seems like time just flies, doesn't it?
VF-5 already?? wow. what a cutiepie!

TJ is less than impressed by Leapfrog's QA dept.

Proph: Acckkkk! That frog isn't looking where he's going! (Too cute!)

pdx: Love the video!

Okay, as usual I was sewing right up to the night before Halloween. Always takes me longer than I think it will. I haven't sewn much in years. Not great pics, because I had trouble getting Jewel to relax and look at me. She was nervous about all the strange-looking creatures out on the street. She soon was really into it. When her Dad would ask if she wanted to go home or keep going, she kept saying, "keep going!" (Mom thought she'd be cold, so added the turtleneck to her Tinkerbell outfit.)

Also took this pic of my DIL and Jewel at a Kings pre-season game.

And....another grandchild is due June 5, 2011! :D

This was TJ's birthday/Haloween outfit. He wanted to be scary so mommy turned him into a monster.

Whoa, pdx! He's getting so big ... and he's sooooo cute.

Proph - Same goes for Z. I cannot believe how quickly time passes.

Kenna - I love the costume. One of these times, we're gonna have to make sure all the proud grandparents have their grandchildren at a Kings game at the same time!!!!

I took TJ on the Holiday Express ride today (there is also a licensed Polar Express ride near Mt. Hood but I figured I'd do the one in town and not chance him falling asleep which he promptly did once we got back in the car).

I think we will visit the railroad museum when we are in Sacramento at Christmas.

Now that would be fun!

pdx: Looks like TJ loved the train!

Yeah it was great, lots of other kids, apparently a few who knew TJ from the mom circuit.

FWIW I am thinking of taking TJ and a grandparent to the game on the 23rd. I should probably get on that.

Here's a few from Jewel's Christmas. It was "Year of the Princess" around here. Santa bought the princess kitchen she asked for. Princesses cook?

Maybe it was the year of the cook and you just didn't know it?

TJ got an apron and a bunch of baby utensils.

The Portland Timbers have launched their inaugural MLS campaign with a series of billboards. They are all over the city and they are really cool. Portland State University tried something similar but got nothing like the buzz these are getting with actual fans.

As part of the promotion they also invited fans to the team store last weekend to have similar photos taken. Super smart move as they are perfect for facebook profile pics, etc. Of course TJ and I being season ticket holders had to go and get ours taken. I tried to get him to make a scary face but I guess wielding the big axe while standing on an apple crate was all a bit too much. At least he had a lumberjack coat.

My son is clearly crushing on a girl at his school, because he allowed her to do this to him, earlier this afternoon:

Just as a point of reference, this is what his hair usually looks like, except about an inch longer:
