Evans becomes a Western Conference Allstar? *POLL*

What are the chances given the stats in the OP?

I assumed that the question means "will he EVER be an All Star", and so I answered 31-40%. Obviously, there's zero chance he'll be an All Star this season given the depth at guard in the West. But three or four years down the line? It's possible.

This starter of this thread was US Navy. In his first post he asked if Evans had any chance of making the all star game for 2010. Thats why I stated the poll should have been whether he would ever make the all star game.

Evans has a winning % that has followed him his whole life. I imagine its somewhere around 88% +- 5%. Now, if he continues that track record, I don't see any way he doesn't make the Allstar team because every one of the 1.3 million people in 916 will be voting for him.

this is true -- when Tyreke leads us to let's see, .83 to .93 x 82 games = 65 to 75 wins next season, his chances of making the All Star team will definitely shoot up.

maybe.... but there are a lot of quality rookie pgs this season. jennings, flynn, collison and evans i guess.... i wonder if thompson will be on the sophmore team?

I almost want to vote 90-100% on this one just because. And it looks like I wouldn't be the first.

Almost all of these guys have big winning % in HS and college. Its the nature of the non-professional game and I'm not sure it really translates to NBA wins.

It almost never does. Can't think of any basketball player that has an 80% winning percentage.

Tyreke obviously has allstar level talent, and I had to bet I would say he will be an allstar within 5yrs. He is a beast, and as long as he keeps improving and becomes a real student of the game, he could potentially become a regular at allstar weekend. But that won't happen in the next 3-4 yrs.

We really have no idea how good he will be, and we won't have a really good idea until he is 23-24 yrs old. I think by that time he could very well be an allstar level pg, but he will have to wait and earn it,.

Parker, and CP3 will be allstars for years to come. So will Deron Williams, who still hasn't made the team yet. There is absolutely zero chance Tyreke beats out those guys in the next few yrs, barring serious injuries to more than one of them.

Considering the depth of the west and the fact that everyone but Kings fans hates the Kings, its 0%. I think a better question would be the chances he wins Rookie of the Year.

Actually, i wouldnt be so sure about Parker 4-5 years from now. Once the speed goes so does Parker.

Oops, I didn't read the OP. I thought the questions was whether or not he'd become an allstar eventually. I'm probably being a little generous.
