ESPN Top Ten Plays of the Day - VC

Any of you folks see this unbelievable spin move by Vince Carter last night against the Knicks i think it was. I mean i have seen plenty of nifty spin moves while driving into the lane but i have never seen anything quite like this. And i am not even a VCarter fan. Just couldn't believe the move. He drives from the left side down the baseline and off the dribble and in the air does a total 360 spin and lay it in almost perfectly to finish the play. And that's not even to mention this other move coming down the left side of the line and looping the ball wide w/ his arms to avoid defenders before laying it in off the glass. Just unbelievable stuff to watch... See if i can get that for you off the highlight reels...

Anybody know how to find that video highlight, specifically of the Knicks/Nets game last night. I would love to put it up on this thread for people that didn't see it but i couldn't find it at some of the obvious locations...

This is his second time doing this I think........

Correct, VC did the same move against the Lakers with about 4 guys surrounding him.

The defender's moving into Carter and rising up to draw the charge/flop, and Carter's spinning away from the defender. I wouldn't complain too much if there was an offensive foul called, but that looks like a no-call to me.

Besides, the move was awesome!

That was the whole idea of the spin move watching the great angles from front and overhead. Carter (again i am no real fan of his) is attempting to avert the charge. I give the benefit of the doubt on the basis of the incredible athletics and the remarkable intention.

The game has changed so much in the past 5 or 7 years and what you are seeing from VC is more of the same. The moves just keep getting more intriguing all the time.

One of the reasons why i look forward to NBA highlights each night...
