Super-scrub + on the team in name only really. We don't really have enough minutes to play our higher quality guys at his positions -- Darius, Tag, Evans, Corliss are all backups right now, and rarely get consistent minutes. And when Brad gets back, it will even be worse (and of course Erik won't be on the playoff roster).
^^ I agree. I wouldn't call him a scrub though since he is unproven and in his first year. With that said I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the playoff roster. He has played a total of 56 min all year. A waste of salary IMO.
I just feel bad for him. He always looks so eager to play. All dressed up in his little uniform. I want to see him go out and score 20 points and make everyone happy.
Of course--I felt sentimental towards Jabari Smith as well. Remember when he sunk those free throws?
I don't know if I'd take him out to dinner, but he seems like a cool guy to hang out with...Always smiling, seems pretty upbeat...Also, I dig the his hair! Here's hoping he grows Etan Thomas-esq dreads!
Old NBA Scouting Report: Solid all-around performer who earns points for hustle, defense and ability to make the correct play. Makes up for lack of explosion with smarts and creativity.
I got nothing against Daniels, but he's really borderline NBA material and is only on the team because he didn't embarass himself in the preseason like Minard and Bluthenthal did. Trading isn't really an option because no team would want to give up anything for him. If he can develop his overall game a little he could be a career 10th-12th man, which is a job I'd take in a heartbeat.
