well from what ive seen, this Price seems to be the offensive playmaker you think we need...

not to say i dont think we need one also, i just dont see it as a huge priority...i thnk between house (w/training camp) and bobby, it can be handled

anyways, i hope Price is as good as cruzdude and the sacbee say him to be, because that would be nice. i also hope we find another diamond in the rough, somewhere closer to 7 foot and shotblocking/defensive skills

I pretty much agree with that.

Still interested in Larry Brown resigning with Detroit and then trying to put together a BJax package for Darko. Otherwise, still a valuable throw in to a larger deal -- not only on talent, but as an ending contract.
Yes, and move Darko to the 3. He can learn from Peja (I guess), or start if we also ship Peja out.

Good. He should get a camp invite. I doubt he makes the team, but if we didn't feel like paying the vet min. for House, he might make the roster.

Thats good to hear, can always use more defensive players on the roster..

I'm going to bump this thread with a question.

If we move Bobby, and decide to re-sign House as full-time backup, do we have to use MLE money?
I doubt Houose is going to draw any sort of real bidding war out there, so I'm pretty sure we can nab him for the vet minimum.

I'd take jackson over house...

But out of any available PG, I'd overall rather see the Kings get Watson or Brevin Knight for back-up. Duhon would be great, but he's definitely staying with Bulls.

Because of Bobby's injury history, which hopefully doesn't happen again this season, we should keep house, or get one of those three.

As much as I love Bobby, we have to think about finding a solid and (hopefully)dependable back-up, House or otherwise. Bobby hasn't just been injured for a good part of two seasons, he's been injured for a good part of three seasons (broken hand = 59 game season; strained groin muscle = 50 game season; torn wrist ligaments/surgery = 25 game season). And he's 32 years old. He may have the best trade value for the Kings right now that he's ever going to have.
