Eddie House

What about bringing Eddie House back, he is a .39% 3pt shooter. he is old but if Kings could sign him for Vet min.....what do you guys think? great guy, I have always liked him.

He has a .390 3-point percentage for his career, but nowhere near that for the last couple of years. Still, I'd consider him for vet's minimum if he thinks he can play more of a combo role than a SG role, since that seems to be what we're looking for. He never made tons of assists, but his A/TO ratio has usually been pretty decent.

Actually he made 44.4% in 08-09. Then he shot 38% for 50 games with the Celts before slumping badly with the Knicks. For a one year contract we could do worse.

The 3pt shooters left are Morrow, Korver, and House. Am I missing anyone? House should be the cheapest because of his age and size. Morrow's probably the hardest to sign since he's restricted. I haven't heard a word about Korver since this started - not sure what size/length of contract he wants. I wouldn't be unhappy with any of them at the right price and for a 1-3 year deal.

Sure, why not. He could be a good fit for the mystical "veteran shooter" role we've oft discussed. Has connections here obviously, and more improtantly has connections wiht a title team in Boston. Can even swing between the guard spots, whihc is handy given Reke and Beno's ability to do the same.

Mike Miller.....although I dont want him on the Kings.

Difference with Miller is he is actually a player. Morrow...well, you never know. But he's a Nellieball junkballer wiht mostly the one skill. Korver is just a shooter. And House is such an undersized gunner that he's often played at SG despite being PG sized. Miller on the other hand is a a guy who put up back to back seasons of 18.5 5.4 4.3 and 16.4 6.7 3.4 in Memphis a couple of years ago. Sort of a top of the line glue guy.

There's also Redick. I'd take Redick over House,Morrow and Korver but probably not over Miller

I thinking cheap league min guys not 40mil guys

I've had my Eddie House days as a Kings fan and that's enough for me. But he sure can hit 'em from anywhere.
