I don't think Garnett gets suspended because his flying elbow on sidelines of Heat bench looked like it hit no one or maybe barely grazed some Heat player. It seemed to all start when Q-Rich for some odd reason wondered over to stare at injured Paul Pierce who was still down after a bang-bang play. Garnett seemed to get mad about whatever Q had to say. Then it broke lose but it really was just a minor scrum with no blows, usual jawing back and forth with the officials and coaches restoring order quickly. Ho hum for first game of what might turn out to be a good and now more heated 4 vs 5 series.

Garnett was throwing elbows then running away like a little girl.

Oh, and Q was going over there to inbound the ball. Garnett elbowed him before he even stopped walking.

He probably won't get suspended because well, he's not a King or a Clipper. If it was one of our players doing the exact same thing, they'd be ejected from the series.

You thought his elbow "grazed" a Heat player? It drilled the dude right in the chops. I'm predicting he's getting a 1 game suspension for that.

The NBA said they had to slow it down in super slow motion to see any contact at all. It must have been a graze as Q barely flinched and played on as soon as game resumed. Since contact in anger was made it should be and deserves automatic suspension according to NBA rules. And now it's official, a one game suspension is imposed.

Stupid, stupid play by KG. I would have thought that a veteran like him would know better. On another note, I'll never forget his interview immediately following his championship with the Celtics a couple of years ago: "What can you say now, what can you say now...." He seems like an idiot.

Kind of OT but I find it amusing that this board used to have a bunch of people clamoring for us to trade the franchise to land KG and now everyone hates him.

That was disappointing, just when I saw Dwade go down I knew the Celtics were going to win, either in over time or right there.:(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but his contract is expiring this summer?

Well, he has a player option, but it comes down to basically the same thing. I must admit, the first thing that came to my mind when he started hitting all those threes was: "Would he work next to Tyreke? Would he leave Miami? If he did, would he come to Sacramento?" To which, I believe, the answers are: Not really, possible, but not very likely and no, I don't think so.

Yea, you're right 100%. I guess he is going to choose between the Miami and Chicago. Maybe there could be some 3rd team if it's really strong contender.
