He's no more a liability than Price on defense. What I like is he averages more assists per minute than anyone we have and his assist to TO ratio is usually high.
He's a playmaker as opposed to a shoot first guy.
a) Price is actually a pretty good defender
b) Boynkins is a playmaker mostly for himself. He's dynamic, but he's always been shoot first.
I think you're selling Price short. Either way Price is young and developing while you pretty much know what you're getting with Boykins at this point.Price is okay, no better or worse than Boykins. Both are better than Bibby.
Boykins is kind of like Bobby Jackson, but shorter... and without the rebounding... and the heart... and the likability (don't ask).
I think Earl Boykins has lots of heart.
I'd trade Kenny for Earl and Najera(or other filler)
