While in Kingsland, we're taking pride in beating the Lakers C team with our starters in order to drop 2 spots. YAY!

If we win, LA beat us because they dropped us a possible 3 spots in the lotto, while they get to rest their starters for another trip to the playoffs. You don't hear them say "Beat SAC." It's because we're nothing. They have bigger fish to fry. We don't. How pathetic is this?
And this is how we stay horrible, with only the memory of a rivalry that we pathetically clutch onto long after it has past. We're the equivalent of an overweight drunk who only manages to get through life by trying to hold on to his high school quarterback days.

NOH just got a new owner. Everything is perfect down there. They can afford to tank a game, but this team, in this city, with these owners, and this arena situation, AGAINST THE LAKERS.

I am always astounded at the thought process that since we haven't won the lottery before and have dropped that we shouldn't want to be as good of position as possible and put us in position to drop at most to 5 or so instead of 8. With that in mind, I don't think there is really anything our team could do. Other teams are in completely different situations and we cannot directly tank.

dude you are SOOO RIGHT ! by lowering our odds at a sure fire player we can land a better draft pick next year when we finish at the bottom again!!!.... by playing guys like whiteside and T.Honeycutt and Outlaw (who would love to play more) in a totally meaning less game to end the year totally tells the rest of our team to be quitters forever and ever... hey thanks for your awesome thoughts...

I told you guys, our worst possible scenario is that we end up with the 9th overall pick (6th most ping-pong balls, but 3 teams jump ahead of us), but Capt. Factorial said we have like a 18 percent chance of ending up with the 6th most ping-pong balls... We'll, it's now a 50 percent chance, depending on a coin flip.
I know it's highly unlikely that 3 teams jump ahead of us, and we end up 9th, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see 1 team jump ahead of us, and we end up at No.7.

ok NO tonight... winning going into the 4th... 6pt 4th quarter they lose...
ON a side note I'm not in favor in anyway telling players to tank... but 100% in favor in emptying the damn bench so we have a shot at losing.... all while giving guys that have wanted to play more all season long the ability to play big mins for once...

I don't even understand your first sentence, but I should have known that when I saw who started this thread.
Whiteside is done for the year, by the way, and I'm fairly confident we defeat this garbage Lakers squad with whatever players we put out there tonight.

Funny. One the most unintelligent posters here who can barely form a legible sentence is calling out someone else.
Everybody take it down a notch. Or three.
So, if the draft goes according to positions (which it won't), the Kings will be selecting in a range where the BPA are likely SGs. The impact bigs will be gone. That's quite a mess. Barnes is perhaps the best fit that may fall to their spot.
So what does the team do? Trade someone to make room? Trade down for Marshall? Just trade the pick for a SF answer?
