Draft Lottery (Kings get #8 pick)

Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, Exum, Randle, Smart, Vonleh, Gordon -- either we trade up, pick the leftovers, or do something unexpected. Trading down for two Phoenix picks seems like the best plan to me.

The league has to change the lotto at this point though right? Not one single person (outside of Cleveland) is happy with this result.

lmao, calm down guys. Did you really expect us to move up? With the terrible luck our franchise has, you guys should've known better. The only thing that bothers me is Cleveland getting the 1st pick. Honestly like wtf? Dan Gilbert is a complete moron, that franchise is a piece of crap. Can't they do something where you can only get top 3 a certain number of times. Because once that limit is passed, that's all on the organization and bad management. They certainly don't deserve that pick.

I guess Cleveland is no longer, "the mistake by the lake." Somebody might start calling Sacramento, "the never by the river."

Bill Simmons-- Respect
I totally agree. We need to trade draft rules man. This is BS.

And there you have it, folks. This is why the nba has fallen behind the nfl, ncaaf, mlb and the nhl in fan interest. What a despicable association. Someone needs to do away with this process. Oh, and f*** Cleveland.

Look on the bright side gang, at least it wasn't The Lakers.

I would prefer it be the Lakers, at least we know they will be good sooner than later and will be out of the lotto quickly, a small market constantly being rewarded and doing nothing, while other small markets like us constantly get the shaft makes me sick.

The one team I'm surprised that didn't get kicked out of the top 3 is the Bucks. NOBODY wants to go there. Horrible and utterly boring organization. They've got the worst team chemistry in the league and 1 player isn't going to do anything. The worst part, no free agent will sign there willingly.

Yes. My sense of integrity won't allow me to believe otherwise.

If I actually believed it was rigged, I'd have to quit watching basketball. And then, I'd be in a hell of a fix.

You didn't watch the 2002 NBA playoffs, did you?

I know it's fun to say the lottery is rigged, but really if it was would it be rigged in favor of Cleveland? For three out of four years?

If the NBA wanted to rig the lottery it makes the most sense to have the Lakers jump up from both a ratings and cash flow perspective.

If anything Cleveland winning the #1 pick again is more evidence that it isn't rigged.

That said, I'm pissed about the Kings moving down yet again.

Or not. Maybe the NBA is targeting for 1 small market team to make it to the top. Come on...they can't be that lucky...LeBron, Irving, and multiple other draft picks in the last couple years.
There's no way in hell that it's a coincidence. I wonder why such a push for Cleveland

Another angle:

Cleveland has had the #1 pick 3 of the last 4 seasons...And look how its turned out for them? The draft isnt everything. For all we know they'll draft Embiid and his back will explode, or they'll pick Wiggins and he'll end up being a 18ppg, fringe allstar "disappointment".... Knowing Cleveland they'll probably try to get clever and draft Smart or Vonleh at #1 anyways.

It would have been nice to get our pick of the top prospects for once, but whatever.

**** the draft. We have Cousins.

Really? This is why? You cannot be serious.

I'm expecting a draft day trade from us. Should be interesting.

Let us pray/hope. Maybe we can just trade the pick + Landry/JT and just let the season go to crap then sign a big time player next summer when all the all-stars are free-agents. Simple...
