Draft: Kings will pick 19th and maybe 49th

According to Chris Sheridan at espn.com, the Kings won their tie-breaker with Denver and will pick 19th in the draft. Also, as long as Utah doesn't exercise their option on the Kings' second round pick (as a result of the Keon Clark trade) the Kings will also have the 49th pick.

Hard to believe the Kings and Nuggets ended the season with the same record! But good to see they won the ping pong tiebreaker.

Denver is the 3 seed, but have the 8th best record in the west.

So does this mean that Denver, as a 3 seed gets the 18th pick, right ahead of us. That sucks.

lol true. I think its pretty cool that he could play all 5 positions. And they also said he might be only 15-17 years old.

sure its cool for a 7 footer to be so versatile, but thats the last thing we need right now. we don't need any more guys who can swing to all sorts of different positions. we need a big who's gonna bang inside on offense and defense, who's gonna get boards and blocks, and generally disrupt the hell out of anybody who shoots in the paint.

i want hilton armstrong!!!!

or josh boone!!!

one of the huskies will do :)

but i really hope we draft one of those two... both raw but can develop over time and both are great shotblockers especially armstrong...

Don't know where did you get this because he has official age of 19 and some question whether he's not 2-3 years older.

Armstrong gambles a lot, Boone stays home.

All biases aside (I know the guy, he goes to Stanford) Matt could be a good 4th big man in the Songaila role for the Kings. Good rebounder, hustler, and can hit the outside shot.

Matt Haryasz is going to make it into the NBA? Strange. Well, Stanford and the NBA don't mix too well.

Stanford players in the NBA: Brevin Knight, Jason Collins, Jarron Collins (if he even counts as being in the NBA)... MARK MADSEN...

Um, Josh Childress??

Don't knock the Cardinal, man.
