Any questions? Broadcasting player of the game?
I don't think I can think of a better replacement (eventually) for Mr. Kings himself Jerry Reynolds.
My initial question was who is this non-fool talking with Grant and Jerry?Any questions?
I can.I don't think I can think of a better replacement (eventually) for Mr. Kings himself Jerry Reynolds.
I can.
I haven't been fortunate enough to hear Christie's color, as he didn't appear to be there for the opener and, for some reason, my League Pass hasn't made the Kings' broadcast available for the other two games; some kind of funky blackout, or something. I have every confidence that Christie is aces on commentary, but my grievance is more that Christie's arrival likely means that the Kings intend to pass over Kayte Christensen for the eventual role of Reynolds' replacement.
Basketball isn't a sport that really benefits from having two color commentators. I know that, sometimes they do it on TNT or ESPN, and ABC has that three-man booth during the Finals, but it's rarely any good.I see Doug as more of a guy that's a new memeber of the team, like an addition, rather than an heir to Jerry's role, thus leaving that spot open to someone else down the line (hopefully Kayte).
