Any questions?

Cousins on hostile Utah crowd: "It was great. Especially to come out with a win and have them all go home with a sad face."

DMC is a natural born attention taker.
Love that kid. Now let's get Anthony Davis and we'll be playoff mainstays for the next 15 years.

Now see THAT is the way you are supposed to handle opposig crowds. I said earlier in the season when we were getting killed every night on the road that young teams are notorious for that -- playing well at home and poorly on the road. And I believe I also mentioend that I had always considered that the sign of a bunch of weak sisters who played for glory and cheers and would squeal like a girl the first time you punched them in the nose. Cousins is getting it right, and the numbers back it up: he doesn't give a crap about needing home crowds inspiring him or any of that kiddie bunk, he just comes to play:

Cousins 11-12
Home: 29.7min 18.0pts (.438 .721) 11.0reb 1.7ast 1.3stl 1.2blk
Away: 30.9min 17.6pts (.446 .727) 11.3reb 1.5ast 1.4stl 1.3blk

Cousins is really good. No doubt about it future all-star in my mind.

And that really puts me in a good place. It's so much easier to be optimistic when you have found your centerpiece.

DMC is the best thing that happened to this club since Webber. He is the centerpiece of this franchise, and it should be easier to build a team around a dominant big. I can't imagine what he will be in 5 or 6 years, when he will learn how to be more effective, make less mistakes and not getting in foul trouble. I would not trade him for any other big in the league, not even for Dwight.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that DeMarcus Cousins, the cat out of Kentucky, with the bad attitude and the questionable work ethic, would be "The Guy". And the transformation has been swift, abrupt and remarkable; talent, physical body and basketball spirit. And it has happened under the leadership of Keith Smart period, point blank!!!

And remember it was only January 1, 2012, this guy was sent home because of conduct detrimental to the team.

He and the Coach Westphal had a "MAJOR FALLING OUT", resulting in the coach saying Cousins had asked to be traded. I will never forget the pre game show on the radio that night against the Hornets. It was like an atomic bomb had dropped on this organization.

And here we are JUST 91 DAYS LATER.....and "that so called punk, cancer, let's ship this bum out of town", is now the future of this franchise. AND I DON'T BELIEVE WE HAVE SEEN THE FINAL PRODUCT. Cousins has a lot to learn, I mean a whole lot. But the best part is I don't think we will see him go back to pre-Smart Cousins; the best is yet to come!:D:D:D

Yup, if there's one thing I'll give Smart credit for it's for unleashing Cousins upon the NBA. I may not feel Smart is doing the rest of our team much good, but I certainly think that he is developing Cousins well. Or the coaching staff is, whichever.

Oddly I considered his ascendance almost automatic from the moment I first saw him in summer league. Was just a question of if he was going to get out of his own way, but the talent was off the charts, and the NBA is a talent driven league.

That said, at NO point did he ever have a chance to surpass the immortal Kenny Thomas, and I consider it insulting to Kenny that the OP would even suggest it in his poll.

I'm extremely proud of DeMarcus. I never doubted him. Just a couple more of the right pieces, and Thunder, here we come...

From the moment he stepped on to the summer league court 2 years ago, even after coming off of Reke's amazing rookie season, I could tell that Cuz was going to own this team one day. He still obviously has some growing up (and muscling up) to do, but he is already beyond his years in talent. And hearing Matt Harpring whine about his nasty demeanor yesterday brought a smile to my face. That's the attitude he brings to this team, and I welcome it with open arms. Keep it up Cuz.

We are lucky to have him. I read some interesting quotes between Cousins and Duncan after the SA game. I like to see the respect long-time pros are starting to have for many of the Kings players. Larry Bird was a master at controlling his emotions, and letting the score board do the talking. Cousins still struggles with his emotions sometimes, but uses them to his advantage 90 percent of the time. Every team needs a couple of fierce guys and an enforcer. I think Thomas brings a lot of attitude in a small body. I loved his defense on Tony Parker, that many think of as an MVP candidate. The Kings now rely on Cousins at the end of games, which is the high percentage plan.

Reminds me of a hybrid of Chris Webber and Moses Malone(from what i have seen on highlights). So much skill like Webber, but overpowers and emposes his will on the game like Moses. Once he refines his post game and stops with the dumb fouls, he will be the best big man in the league.

Some of his team mates call him Moses.

Did you know....Cousins came close to playing college ball with Isaiah Thomas. Thomas' team was his second choice according to Cousins, and the coach, Romar, was the first person he called when deciding to turn pro.
