Dam These Gas Prices!

Being gouged? by who? We are being gouged by the fact that 2.5 billion people in India and China are just starting to wake up to their economic potential, and so are becomeing ever bigger consumers of the stuff. EVERY commodity is seeing upward pressure on its price.

Frankly, the price of gas should be higher. We have so many expenses and externalities related to the use of autos that are either simply paid from the general funds, or just ignored altogether. Tax gas, (which will increase conservation) and then target the revenues toward roads, environmental cleanup, public transportation, other modes of bulk transport (rail, barge etc...)....

if it's this bad now, oh boy i'm not looking foward to summer. i think i'll put my car out of commission for the summer ;) biking will be fun, my legs could sure use the toning

hello bike and walking shoes! and money in my pocket :D

I try and tell myself that the price of gas isn't too bad by comparing it to other commodities. For example orange juice, which is more per gallon than gas. We should be outraged at the price of orange juice.

i wonder how much coffee is per gallon. america is getting gouged in the coffee department, no doubt about that.
